It may take a day or so to have the cost estimates uploaded in the system as instant quotes may not be available. Renewals for certain countries seem to be more expensive as compared to other agents. Overall, the experience is good. Pros Fast (although not instant) cost estimates and easy to instruct on renewals as the interface is very easy to understand and the search function is also very helpful. Cons Generally, all good. However, if it is possible to have instant quotes for renewals in e.g. more popular jurisdictions, the system would be better. Switched from [IP One](https://www.capterra.com/p/163291/IP-ONE/) The main factor is costing. It is also hoped that higher volume to renewals can help will reciprocity on renewals/filings. Fast-forward a few years and many more matters later, we transitioned to the Azami platform completely. And never looked back. Pros The platform is easy to use, very intuitive, and not overwhelming. General Counsel Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Simple, Effective, and Economical Way to Manage Patent Annuities" September 16, 2025 5.0 I have found Azami's renewal system to be a great fit for our needs as a high-growth startup, and would recommend their product to others in a similar circumstance. Pros Azami's system is easy to use, the company has good and prompt customer support, and is among the more economical options. The system is set up to handle renewals in an intuitive manner, and includes options to put individual renewals on auto-renew status, allowing users to set it and forget it. I researched several other alternatives and found Azami to be the most economical by a fair amount, and certainly compared to handling by a law firm. Their customer support team has been very responsive whenever I have needed help. Cons The system is pretty intuitive, but does require the user to manually upload and manage assets. We have the skills on our team to understand the renewals process and ensure everything is properly entered, but teams with less familiarity may need support from the Azami team to understand all features of the system. Even if one owns a patent in a single country, I would recommend Azami for peace of mind. The patent rules are risky; missing a deadline may result in losing the rights and protection that were invested in the patent's registration. I admit that I work with Azami, so I can't compare to others, but I am extremely happy with my choice. Pros Pros: What did you like most about Azami Renewals System? 1. The most important pro I could think about is the people behind the software. They are always there to help, guide me, find mistakes I have made, and assist me in correcting them. This is a huge value because missing a deadline for a patent's renewal could result in losing the patent rights. 2. The software itself is user-friendly and quite easy to master and operate. 3. The auto-renewal option allows me to be self-sufficient and worry-free. 4. Even when auto-renewal is set up, I still get alerts when a payment is due, which gives me another chance to review and validate that all is right. 5. Azami has agents who find the renewal schedule, which relieves me from the burden of follow-up in every country (I have the patent registered in more than 60 countries). 6. The fee is competitive and reasonable. Cons 1\. The portfolio presentation is very simple, with few options to organize or extend. 2. We needed significant human involvement to set the initial renewal portfolio When I started (it might be fixed by now). At the time, I thought that it was also a pro because it saved me the learning curve for the activities I needed to apply only once. Pros The system is comprehensive and always updated in real time, so I can view all my cases from various viewpoints and make sense of all my matters. The system importantly allows me to easily request quotes for new cases, view estimates and instructions status of existing cases, manage with manual or automated instructions and more. In short, robust and smart and good for these purposes. Cons I would prefer some graphic representations to show the portfolio/cases graphically.
