The timesavings alone when rendering many still images into video is worth the money. Pros How do I begin? Maybe with pay once, use forever! It's an unheard deal in today's "subscribe to use" world. Not only do you not have to worry about monthly payments, but the way you can either upload your own photos or have Video Express create them is great, plus the quick way it renders your AI videos is fantastic. With other "subscribe" AIs, you have to wait for each image rendered into a video. With Video Express, you push "Create Video" and it goes to the rendering que right away so you can go on to the next image. What a time saver! It's a wonderful system and a great way to speed up your workflow. Cons I would like to see an easier way to create lip sync videos with your own audio voice file that was created in Clone Voice. The current way is to drop it into the timeline and then right click and select Change Voice. It's a little clunky, but it can get the job done. Director Animation Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "VideoExpress AI - The Smart Choice For Filmmakers & Animators" June 4, 2026 4.0 Overall my current user experience of using VideoExpress to create a three min music video using all of the video tools and editing the full video within the app and not doing as I'd normally do with other AI apps which is to download the individual video clips and then finish off my work in editing in my external video editor. Because the in built app video editor is very well designed I found it has been both productive and easy to use and produce my video completely within the app and I've exported a fully finished video with audio, transitions in full HD quality. This exporting process was very, very quick and I was really surprised how speedy the final exporting of the video was and the fact that I can download each and every one of my created assets either in a .zip file or individually as a .png/mp4 is fantastic. All in all a fantastic start to my use of VideoExpress. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the app develops. Pros VideoExpress is one of several products that I've purchased from the same company and developers over the last ten years. My first use of the app has been both exciting and promising. I've still a lot of the tools to explore, use and perfect, however, there's certainly lots of hidden potential under the bonnet if the user should care to look. Good AI research takes time but I'm really looking forward to creating, testing and experimenting with VideoExpress over the next several months. The full cost of the product was less that a months subscription to another AI platform which has since been cancelled as an unnecessary expense now that I've purchased VideoExpress. I've not yet used the voice, text, language support and customer support services and functions but will try them soon. Cons Currently there's some room for GUI/UX/UI improvements and this is always true with new AI platforms and apps, especially those in a beta mode initially. However, here's several options, tools and resources that I'd personally love to see integrated and inside the user interface over the next several months. 1. An option to full screen the video player window prior to export when editing. 2. The option to 'reverse' the video (could be placed with video speed). 3. A time-lapse mode outside of prompting the effect. 4. A way to save the prompts the user creates in a library or folder (downloadable as a .text file) 5. A larger set of effects, transitions and filters to include, colour grading, chroma keying, some audio controls for mixing and mastering imported audio with equalisation and reverb, echo effects. A small audio tool suite would be great for audio editing. 6. An option for users to pay or subscribe to a storage space on the server for those of us who may wish to keep our original projects online and later re-edit or use again as resources or assets without needing to go through the process of uploading all the same resources and assets again into the app. Cost wise, I'd personally be happy to pay the same sort of price that I currently do monthly/yearly for both OneDrive and Drop Box storage. This option could also be sold separately across the apps you develop so that everything is in the same place for multi-app users like myself who use both VideoExpress and Artistry AI. 7. A one click 'select all' button/toggle for resources would be great.
