As a solopreneur, with limited hours in the day, making the leap to advertising and interviewing your first employee (albeit a VA) is a challenge, with so many other tasks to complete. This made the process simpler and allowed me to connect with remote applicants effectively. It is also engaging for the applicant, allowing them the time prepare their response to my questions, as I have full control over their response time. Nerves can get the better of you when the job you're applying for really matters. This tool allows my applicants to show their best self, and allows me to sift through the candidates quicker and more effectively - perfect for someone like myself under constant time-pressure. Pros Great for speeding up the interview process and hearing the interviewee first hand - instead of relying on a well drafted resume or application letter. Right now I have to do a bit of manual entry or hacky workarounds to pull interview results into the rest of our workflow. 2. I’d love more branding options. I wish I could tweak the look and feel of the candidate-facing side just a bit more. Right now it’s clean and functional, but a little more personality (especially for a brand like ours) would go a long way. We always felt like our way of shortlisting 'MAY BE losing out' on candidates who were great but got filtered out to RESUME reasons and our lack of ability to interview all of them. Pros I liked Xinterview's minimal design, easy-to-use options, seamless onboarding and job listing options. Along with this, we can use the reports option to analyze the stats. The most important, CNAME or Whitelabel feature for us as an employer is very helpful that boosts the confidence of the candidates while interviewing. This option helps us to make the system load under our own domain. Cons I believe there should be options to disable the quick help option and cookie consent for the interview page. The interview page should be simple with no other options that distract the candidate. These options should be given under the employer or admin account and should have options to turn them on and off. Also, there should be options to add our chat option and the ability to set custom CSS on the page to meet the brand identities. Reason for choosing Xinterview The overall experience with Xinterview was great. Be it a job posting or a candidate review, it was a good experience. The alternative product was costly while the Xinterview was affordable for our organisation. Also, the technical support given by the team made us choose Xinterview.
