It saves me hours of library time and writing every week. Even with some bugs, this is hands-down the best AI tool I’ve ever had for keeping a grip on my team’s data and strategy. Would recommend that for any busy leader. Pros I already use Gemini everyday to keep up with this heavy workload. It’s absolutely terrific in abstracting the content from lengthy feature requirement documents, and quickly help me think of what more I can add to my product genre. The integration with Google Workspace is a massive bonus for my workflow. It’s like having an incredibly smart assistant who knows the technical context in which you’re writing. Cons Sometimes, the tool provides more general-type answers which aren't as helpful, so I have to ask it multiple times before we get deep technical detail. Pros I have used Gemini primarily for image generation and editing, though also for writing content creation from my outlines and prompts. The image production and editing is very easy to use and much more productive and valuable than those from other AI models I have worked with. Cons There is a learning curve with any new model one uses. I had been primarily using another one for text editing and wordsmithing, and I think I still prefer that one for text drafting. I like that I can use it on my phone on the go, but also on my computer. I like that it can understand multiple languages and respond in those. Cons The answers are not always correct. The original logos and images are beautiful. I am just unable to make edits in Gemini. I just know it's limited and do not expect more of it. Pros It is great for creating logos and images (first pass only without edits). The logos for my personal businesses were created with Gemini. They are beautiful logos that do not look like AI-generated logos. Cons The image-editing feature. It frequently tells you that it made the revisions, but the edits never actually show up in the output. I’ve tested this across multiple logos and images—easily 5–10 attempts each—with the same result every time. It's great to see the progress being made in the LLM space as competition benefits all ecosystem players. Pros Gemini 2.5 pro worked very well for basic and advanced coding tasks. Without carefully prompt engineering, Gemini 2.5 pro was still able to reason about most tasks and provide working code. I primarily used Gemini in the web UI and enjoyed the clean interface (very similar to claude.ai). There are smaller models in the Gemini family if you don't need so much reasoning horsepower. Based on the accuracy of the results, Gemini benchmarks very similar to Claude 3.7 Sonnet. Image creation within Gemini also works quite seamlessly. Cons Google does impose token caps on a daily basis. If you need more tokens, it's easy enough to switch to the paid version. You could also pay for Perplexity which includes Gemini 2.5 pro.
