### "Appward review"

August 15, 2024

4.0

Overall, I have enjoyed my experience with Appward and think it has great potential to make processes and information transfer in my company more efficient, accurate, and consolidated. Appward's support staff are exceedingly helpful in resolving bugs and helping facilitate app development.

Pros

Appward is very versatile in terms of what apps can be made and we have been using it to replace multiple older software platforms. Putting everything on one platform like Appward is convenient and allows multiple different departments to communicate and share information without needing to navigate and work in multiple different software platforms. Apps all have helpful and informative user guides as well.

Cons

Sometimes certain functionalities of the software or Apps exhibit bugs. For instance, flyout window headings in Notifications sometimes display the wrong title when viewing notifications with Filters. Usually, bugs happen when trying to do too many things at once, like reply to a post and switch apps. I have found it is best to finish a task/post before switching apps. You can have multiple Appward windows open at once, which make navigation between apps easier and reduces chances for the flyout errors to happen.

### "One stop shop"

August 16, 2024

5.0

We've been using an old, outdated ERP system for record keeping and resource management etc., but like many others, it was slow, crashed often, and we had to mix it with other software to do everything we needed. When we switched to Appward, I was a little apprehensive at first because we had a way we did things and so why change that right? Well once we got more and more migrated over to Appward, man oh man what a change. We do EVERYTHING here now and no need for extra software. We use it for daily progress reports, document control, inventory management, file management, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, scheduling, private messaging, conversation forums, TRAINING, you name it. I feel I have gotten better at my job simply because everything is available and together. Appward is SQL based too so you can make custom queries 'insights' for pretty much anything that is entered. Do you want to know how many issues of the same type came up in the last 6 months? Year? by specific worker? or group of workers? Easy. Just query by your parameters. The Kanban boards app is super useful too. Some use it for tracking multiple deliverables on a single project they are managing. I like to use it to keep track of all the projects my team are working on and each card contains deadlines, files, reports, conversations, checklist. You can relate things with each other as well so if two projects are being worked together, you can easily and visually make it known. Lots of features already and they continue to release more. Appward takes our feedback seriously too as I have seen some updates we talked about become implemented. Another benefit with Appward is, everything is 'thing' based. Meaning if you are tagged in anything, you are taken to the 'thing' that's being discussed and all of the background info is there. Before, like everyone else we used emails and had to constantly re-educate who ever we were emailing. We would attach emails, add screenshots of conversations, or retype everything. We would have to bring all of the background info to the person. Now we bring the person to the info. We don't have to retype or reeducate. We just ask a question at the 'thing' and mention the person we want to see it. It's really great. Another major plus for us is it runs on a server and servers can be local only, or cloud based depending on how you want it. We have it on the cloud, so we are able to access Appward from anywhere. Prior to Appward we had to remote into the office which was always a drag, a bandwidth hog, and slow to get anything done. We have field crews and sometimes in bad internet coverage areas so in those cases remoting in was impossible. Now with Appward it doesn't seem to take up much data to load even in remote areas. It just seems to work. Give it a shot, it will change how you do things for the better.

Pros

My write up in the overall experience section is basically the Pros. To add another Pro, Appward is basically a one stop shop for the company I work for. All of our ERP, CRM, DMS, HRMS, etc needs has been migrated to Appward and I can't see myself going back.

Cons

There have been a few bugs here and there. However, they get taken care of pretty quickly after we submit a ticket.

We got to big for it. It would crash. needed to be repaired often. Only accessible within the network. Was slow.

### "Lots of apps, easy to migrate, and connectivity like nothing else"

August 12, 2024

5.0

Extremely happy with the new mode of operation. Reading and organizing emails or threads was not effective. All aspects of my department's functions are within Appward, which in the past we were spread over multiple in-house software, and using emails to connect between them.

Pros

The interconnectivity is like no other business software I have used before. Keeping conversations in the same location as the work, proposals, customer, order, inspection, etc. ensures that decisions can be made quickly and searching through old emails is a thing of the past.

Cons

Migrating into a new software comes with its own pain points, but I can say - the Appward team made this process easier than I have ever experienced before. There are trainings built in, and within the week of rolling out a new app, my team was quickly functioning.

We were using some business software, a lots of Excel spreadsheets, emails and Teams. I was looking for a way to keep everything in the same place, and a way to connect the aspect of approvals, project plans, manpower planning, conversations/posts, calendar events, and meetings

### "Happy super user - wouldn't go back to anything else."

August 16, 2024

5.0

I used it all day, every day, and from home or wherever I am. The Apps all work incredibly well together and synch up with each other so much better than the typical software packages I've used before. If I lost Appward and had to use something else, I would regret losing it big-time.

Pros

It connects everything together and you can put relations between every kind of record. When I get a notification about something, I can go straight to that "thing" and not have to search emails or figure out what App to go to. It takes me to the right App or right information immediately.

Cons

Setting times/dates in meetings is a little bit of a struggle.

### "Company collaboration in one easy app"

August 16, 2024

5.0

Learning the platform has been painless with the availability of training videos and articles that help explain various functions. I have also watched the platform improve over the last nine months to adapt to my company's needs.

Pros

The integration of multiple tools on one platform. I like that I can have my forums, chats, notifications, announcements, and just about any app with needed company information all in one place. Plus, the platform itself is highly customizable to my needs and preferences. I have used One Note and Slack in the past and I can say Appward easily outpaces both those apps as far as capability and overall ease of use.

Cons

With any new platform I imagine there will always be bumps, but I have yet to run into any issue that wasn’t remedied in a timely manner. Outside of that, I can’t think of anything specific I “don’t like”.

### "A superb company-wide communications and transparency system for all business operations."

August 16, 2024

5.0

Very good overall. I found some early bugs and submitted tickets for them and they were often addressed within a day or two.

Pros

The best feature for sales is being able to tag and communicate internally to others without leaving the application I am using to execute the task. It keeps the context of the communication right in the application the question is coming from.

Cons

Change is hard with anything. The initial start had some discomfort for my (sales) team, but with a couple minor tweaks we got our stages and other processes tooled to coalesce with our complete process.

### "Appward Review"

August 16, 2024

5.0

Amazing! Within Appward, I can log a support ticket, request manpower, and review project history without ever leaving Appward. It's a great central place for all documentation.

Pros

When a notification comes through, you can either respond through the notification tab or double-click to open the app. This helps with speed of response and transparency with all details.

Cons

Within Ticket Director and the Conversations tab, the drag-drop for email copy doesn't reliably work. When the emails are larger than a few MB, it's inconsistent. Smaller emails are an instant copy/paste.

My overall experience with Appward is positive. I think it's a great system and I enjoy using it every day.

Pros

Appward is easy to navigate and there are many different apps available which makes this the main system I use for most of my work.

Cons

Occasional bugs, however, this is not common and when it does occur it is quickly resolved.
