Overall, very positive experience working with for all our kennel's needs. Awesome customer service, take care of their clients very well.

Pros

Twin Tides Kennel uses Pet Software every day for our boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services, and it has made running our business much easier. The system is simple to use, booking appointments is quick, and keeping track of pet info, vaccines, and customer notes is very organized. The payment processing works smoothly, and our clients like the online booking feature. Customer support has also been great and they stay right on the pulse of the industry, regularly updating small issues and listening to feedback from businesses like ours. It is also awesome because where we are located in a more rural area, we are able to customize our messaging and customer outreach to match our style of need. An example is you are able to customize if your client receives the notification for cancelation or booking this mitigates confusion and over flooding the clients. What we like most is that it saves us time and keeps everything in one place. For a small business, it’s been a great value and has helped us stay organized and efficient.

Cons

I wish there was more of a notification center for things such as meet and greets. Where in a regular workday daycare, boarding and grooming is always being checked sometimes the meet and greet appointments will go unnoticed. If the online grooming booking did not allow customers to book if the Calander is full. This is also user error but if we have the day full of grooms but the time slots are not filled exactly clients can book an appointment that cannot be filled. Also, would love if you could book multiple grooms at a time similar to daycare, and also if the history of the last groom would auto fill for when booking a repeat customer. Just kind of a drawn-out process but still is a very easy to use system.

I'd say overall, as a platform is pretty good. It's not perfect, but I do like that they are constantly trying to improve.

Pros

The customer support is really great. They are very responsive to any questions and work really hard to get back to you in a timely manner.

Cons

There are a few things I don't like about . The AI generator will misgender dogs and the wording can be very odd. You can book a dog for the same stay an infinite amount of times and the system will never give you an error code.

Still in the beginning stages but definitely feels like the overall process is made harder than it needs to be.

Pros

Customer support was great. Great with answering questions in an efficient manner. Has a few different ways to filter which is nice.

Cons

Checking in and checking out has multiple steps which seem unnecessary. Streamlining that process would be more beneficial all around.

has been one of the greatest changes we have faced with our company. We had been looking for a new software system for quiet awhile. After 10 years of dealing with Gingr and their lack of communication and innovation we landed we knew we needed a change. After months and months of demos and research, we made the decision that Goose is where we wanted to be. It was scary at first but the Goose team was there every step of the way! We have loved working with them and have seen the benefits of their software in many places - including the fact that we have had over a 20% increase each month since switching to Goose in Aug 2025!

Pros

We love how easy it is for our customers to use. While it took some time for everyone to get used to it, as any change does, the benefits for all parties have soared far beyond our expectations. We also love the customer support and the people behind . If we have questions, they have answers very quickly.

Cons

is a newer software so of course there are some things we are looking forward to seeing in the future. Goose has been great about listening to our needs and wants and giving us honest feedback about timelines and expectations.

Overall, wonderful. We interviewed several top companies, and what stood out about was their commitment to the industry. They want to see operators succeed. That requires thoughtful and innovative approaches to revenue management and work flow efficiencies to keep productivity top of mind while preparing the next wave of the dog boarding and daycare industry. Their leadership and support teams have been with us all the way from exploration, building, implementation, execution, and continued follow ups to make sure we are getting the most out of the software.

Pros

The client booking engine is top notch in the industry. It helps to prioritize our add-ons to ensure clients can make their dog's stay customized to their personality, while creating maximum earning opportunity with revenue management.

does not yet have some of the functionality that caters to our specific internal processes when it comes to daycare and boarding, but they are actively taking feedback and releasing updates that have tremendously improved back end client experience.

### "The best option for pet software"

Very, very good. Quick response to problems, staff that are willing to video conference with you and help you with trainings, problems and user error on my part. Good value for the money. All software has quirks - but I truly believe is the most dependable, user-friendly and forward thinking pet software available.

Pros

I love the customer-facing user interface. It is very simple and I find that our customers can successfully make an online booking with minimal assistance no matter their technology skill level. Customer service is quick to respond to concerns or problems.

Cons

Refresh and update frequency - nearly every time I log on, I have to refresh due to an update. But, I will say this is a plus and minus because they are fixing bugs and problems often. So putting this as a critique is being awfully nit-picky for a software that manages the huge amount of information for us.

Pros

First and foremost, 's customer service is exceptional. Their team is prompt and thorough. Their support team is easy to access from the dashboard and everyone on our team feels comfortable reaching out. Goose's dashboard is simple and clear. Reports are easy to find and understand by anyone on our team. Last, Goose allows us to set rate optimizations and minimum booking values that are very customizable and easy to adjust.

Cons

The pre-registration process can get missed by our customers, and our staff often needs to encourage owners to fill it out before a reservation. We know this is something that the team is working on and are confident the final result will go above and beyond what currently exists in the industry.

Overall I’ve been happy with their service. I would suggest trying to make it more user friendly when using a mobile device though.

Pros

They have great customer support and is very easy to use for bookings! Our customers also say for the most part that they are able to book with ease.

Cons

Sometimes when sending messages to customers they are a little glitchy and doesn’t send right away. Also when viewing on the phone it’s a little difficult to see certain things on the dashboard.

### "Nothing better than working with a team that can execute"

I have nothing but good things to say about the software and the entire team. When we initially met the team years ago they were just a booking engine. This year we talked to them at a show and they were in the process of releasing their full operating system. We made a long list of things that were a requirement in order for us to even consider making a switch. The Goose team went through the list with us line by line. They didn't have every feature we needed available, but they had a timeline for when it would be. We've been through this process before so we were naturally skeptical that what we needed would be implemented. We wrote down the dates and continued to review other options. After the show they set up a regular meeting with us to review the releases and provide feedback. They were hitting every deadline exactly as they said they would be. Eventually we got to a point where they delivered on their promises and we had everything we needed to transition. A lot of companies say they'll make changes or have features available, Goose is actually executing and there's nothing better than working with a team that can execute.

Pros

Online booking Engine: This software was built with the customer experience in mind when it comes to online booking and it really shows. Most of the software in our industry has a clunky online booking experience. This is not the case in where you can very nicely present everything your facility has to offer to customers. It is also very easy to use on the admin side, so you can make changes on your own and test out new offerings. Additionally there are a ton of tools you can use for occupancy/price optimization. Ease of Use: The system is very easy to use and is being improved weekly. We have implemented this software in 6 locations and the feedback from staff at every location has been that it is very easy to learn and use. Implementing has required a single day with a few hours of training at each location and minimal follow up after. Speed: Our previous system would consistently crash and severely bog down during busy periods (weekends/Holidays). Goose has been VERY stable. It has not "timed out" or crashed a single time since we started using it. Future Roadmap: Goose has been very up front about their future plans for development which are very exciting. We analyzed every option before deciding to go with goose and in addition to the other things I listed, their plans for the future were why we made the decision. They are not just throwing around ideas. They have a development schedule and they meet their deadlines. They also meet with us regularly for feedback and are delivering changes and improvements on a regular basis in between the scheduled upgrades.

### "Made the switch from Gingr, haven't looked back!"

It took us some time to make the switch from Gingr since that product's operating system has been around for so long. However, once 's product was to a point that wouldn't impact our way of doing business, we quickly made the switch. Our team is happier using Goose, and Goose's pace of innovation has been impressive -- it seems like each week they're rolling out new features, nearly all of which align with our team's feedback. Our view is that Goose is the better product today and is 100% 'where the puck is going' -- it will be the better product in the years to come, too.

Pros

\- Booking and revenue management. The ability to dynamically price based on occupancy or date is what the industry has been missing + instant confirmation of bookings so pet owners aren't left wondering. - Improved reporting. More helpful reports + recognizes revenue the right way (accrual basis). - Open architecture. They're building the product with the ability to eventually integrate via API with other softwares we use (QBO, our CRM, etc.) - More intuitive/modern user interface.

Cons

As a new business there are a few features they still haven't added (for example, photos and feeding tables on run cards), but we know all are on their product roadmap and will be added before long.

I've been using for 6 months now, and I find myself liking it more and more. Initially, I signed up for Goose mainly for its online booking feature. However, I didn't explore the dashboard until a few weeks ago, and now I realize how many great features I've been missing out on. I'm grateful to their team for helping me better utilize the Goose dashboard. Their support has been invaluable.

Pros

allows my clients to seamlessly book dog boarding services 24/7 without the need to download an app or spend a long time registering. The platform is mobile-friendly, making it easy for clients to access and use on their smartphones or tablets. Best of all, Goose is sophisticated. Its clean interface reminds me of high-end hotel software tailored for the pet care industry. Among all the options I considered, Goose stood out as the most modern-looking platform. Additionally, I appreciate the flexibility Goose offers. I can easily create add-on services and adjust pricing based on peak season dates, allowing me to tailor my services to meet the changing needs of my clients. This flexibility ensures that both my business and my clients are well taken care of.

Cons

I rely heavily on Google Calendar, so the ability to automatically sync new bookings to my Google Calendar would be fantastic. I keep a calendar widget on my phone's home screen so when a client asks if I have a date available, I can quickly check my phone. Currently, I manually add bookings to Google Calendar, and I'm actively seeking a better solution to automate and sync this process. I would also appreciate a small calendar added to the booking page that displays availability and pricing (blocked-off days, fully booked days, and days with higher pricing, such as holiday rates). This feature would make it easier for my clients to plan their pet care and travel ahead of booking. Furthermore, it would be great if Goose could integrate with QuickBooks Online to simplify accounting tasks. Overall, I'm impressed with Goose's continuous improvement and look forward to seeing them grow and add more features every month.

Overall, I would recommend to any colleague. It has dramatically improved my revenue, helping my business grow rapidly. I am constantly impressed with the software updates and how well the company communicates with its subscribers. I have never waited more than 15 minutes for a service request to be answered and handled on the spot. I look forward to seeing what updates and new features pop up monthly.

Pros

and the entire team have exceeded my expectations. From the initial set-up process to the everyday use of the site, every task is streamlined. Revenue management has been the biggest pro to using Goose every day. My booking rates are automatically adjusted to increase my profitability during holidays, historically busy times of the year, and allow you to create blocked-off time too. Without Goose, I would be missing out on simple revenue increases that offset Goose's costs and so much more!

Cons

There is not much to dislike about . They are a young company, and the customer support is unmatched in the industry. The entire time, the support team is there to take care of any questions or problems you encounter. You can actively see the software updates take place firsthand. The support team is also great at releasing articles about all their improvements and updates, giving business owners a step ahead!

I would like one area to be more obvious to clients. When they are booking, I would like the date/calendar to be more obvious as a starting point. I have people that call me because they don't realize they have to select a date to get the system to start the booking process.

Customer support has been incredibly responsive and consistent. As much as we appreciate the innovative features of compared to other kennel management systems, we think updated features will flow more quickly than from other existing systems. We switched to a custom platform a few years ago. Goose is giving us many of the features we wanted for our next system updates. It's much easier and less expensive for us to utilize the Goose system and depend on them for support and innovative updates.

Pros

I like the convenience it provides our customers and the time it frees up for our staff to allow them to focus more on dogs in-house. The deposits collected at time of reservations has a big impact on our cash flow.

Pros

I like that they are constantly adding features and listening to client needs. The booking optimization is crucial with a smaller kennel. Online booking also makes it so easy for our clients to see our pricing, package options and to be able to book anytime they need to.

Cons

There are still some work arounds we have to use but most of the time that is only needed until a bug is worked out. I will be anxious for grooming to be added to the program as well as we have to use two programs currently.
