Pros

  • I like that they were referred to me by my accountant that said they were good, and they were. Things were easy, I got support from my point of contact with a simple text message.

  • Good recommendations for ancillary products and services, good management of my particular business.

Cons

  • The online portion was hard to make work, but I think that's more because of my situation being a one-person company than it was any shortcomings of teamwork group software.

  • Sometimes it is hard to know who to contact about what issue because there are different people for each department.

"Great for small businesses and everything in between."

Overall: Overall it has taken a lot of my plate personally and I am super grateful for that.

Pros: The team gets back to you promptly and it is very easy to submit reimbursements which I really like.

Cons: I do wish there was a little bit better UI on the website to access everything, some more thought in design would be heavily appreciated.

Alternatives Considered: QuickBooks Time and ADP Workforce Now
Reasons for Choosing WorkSight: Personal connections and the intention to scale meant we would probably need someone to manage our benefits and workers compensation eventually so we decided to not do it in house.

"I am so glad I found you! "

Overall: Overall I couldn't be more grateful to have you guys as our HR/Payroll company. I know that I have people I can rely on for all my questions and HR needs.

Pros: We have tried multiple other payroll companies and after signing up with you guys I have had so much lifted off of my plate. My administrative tasks are completely a one gal show and having your team behind me has been the best decision we have made this year. I don't have to worry about our payroll taxes, the payroll entry is simple, and the software is very user friendly. Not to mention if I ever have any questions you respond almost immediately and always respond in the most friendly manner.

Cons: The only thing that could improve is the timeliness of payroll being deposited. Some days its a day before payday and other times its the day of. QuickBooks would pay people 2 days early which was really nice and it was always that way so our employees could count on that.

Reasons for Choosing WorkSight: Price, customer service, and the onboarding demo was exceptional.
Reasons for Switching to WorkSight: Quickbooks was expensive and Paylogics software was extremely hard to navigate and visually displeasing. They also were unable to fix some payroll taxes being inconsistent with an employee which was frustrating.

"Quick response"

Overall: Overall the system is easy to use and the support team is great!

Pros: I consistently received quick responses to my requests for assistance and trouble-shooting. This is much appreciated as I like to solve issues quickly and not have to wait and go back to things multiple times.

Cons: Would like a more robust PTO request process. Ex: Ability to adjust employee requests without denying the request and sending back to employee.

"Great PEO with much better options than others that I found"

Overall: They have been incredibly friendly and helpful. I want our relationship to be long term

Pros: Easy onboarding and very simplified payment tools

Cons: The design was occasionally counterintuitive, but that may have been from built in redundancies

Alternatives Considered: Oasis Insight, ADP Workforce Now, BambooHR and TriNet
Reasons for Choosing WorkSight: The pricing was so much better and the team was super responsive. The others all took nearly a week to reply

"Payroll Plus"

Overall: I've used Teamworks for almost 10 years now. We have gone through many upgrades, employee structure changes, employees, new handbook, etc. Throughout it all, the customer service from [sensitive content hidden] has been top-notch. Both are very knowledgeable and patient and have always adequately handled our questions and concerns.

Pros: Teamworks payroll helps tremendously with my hectic schedule. It's easy to use and maximizes my time. The number 1 reason we stay with Teamworks is for the customer service. Our rep is a rockstar!

Cons: Reports. Since the last upgrade, I've had issues with pulling my reports. I'm very thankful for our rep, [sensitive content hidden], who has the patience to help me get what is needed.

"Wonderful addition to our company! "

Overall: They're overall knowledge and willingness to help our small company, we get the treatment of a Fortune 500 company!

Pros: So easy to use, I've called them often and after hours, they always respond with the help we need and give suggestions on how to make payroll or HR better!

Cons: Nothing yet after years of their help to us!

"Teamworks is Great"

Overall: Teamworks is hour go to HR team. We rely on them to help us take care of our employees.

Pros: Teamworks cares about their clients. Anytime we have need to reach our for guidance or support they have the answer quickly.

Cons: The only knock on Teamworks is that they aren't in house.

"Excellent payroll and benefits service for small to medium business"

Overall: They’ve provided excellent and responsive service any times I’ve had a question of issue.

Pros: Teamworks is very cost effective, much less expensive than other PEOs. And their customer service, even for a small startup like mine, has been excellent.

Cons: There are loads of reports available and it would be helpful for more info about which are the most important (such as getting payroll by quarter by person, which I have to look for each time)

"Teamworks offers all the sevices that we need."

Overall: The Teamworks staff is very responsive to our questions.Their advice on personnel discipline issues has been critical for us.

Pros: The human resource advice is critical to our protection in difficult situations.Teamworks processing of our Employee Retention Credit claims was great.

Cons: We have no complaints with service or response to our requests.

"Excellent & Professional"

Pros: quick responses on customer service related issues

Cons: The new employee onboarding hasn't been the best and needs some improvement. No follow-up with new employees on use of timeclock software, making sure they have access to everything to get started, etc.

Pros: Easy to use and easy to navigate through.

Cons: There were no aspects of the TWG that I did not like.

"Great service "

Overall: We haven't had a single bad experience with Teamworks. The one time payroll MIGHT have been late due to a bank issue, they notified us in advance (and instead of posting at 12 am it still posted by 12pm that day). They are always on top of things and communicate clearly.

Pros: I like how responsive they are and how they work with my needs.

Cons: To add new services you have to follow up. They don't hound you to add their other services. Which can be good, but also if you want those services it's in your court.

"Our experience "

Overall: They are great.

Pros: They have been great to work with. Everyone has been willing and able to help whenever I need it. They are great to work with.

Cons: Honestly, there are no cons for us at this time they have been great.

Switched From: RUN Powered by ADP
Reasons for Switching to WorkSight: They would keep forgetting to keep up with us on our Workers comp and it ended up being cancelled one to many times

"Much happier with Teamworks services than our previous payroll service"

Overall: So far we have been thankful for the quick and helpful customer service.

Pros: Automatic payment of state and federal taxes is extremely important to our company as well as the unemployment payments since we have employees in multiple states. The customer service and responding quickly to questions is another important feature to us.

Cons: So far it has been better than Paychex in every way!

"Teamworks - reliable payroll and benefits service provider"

Overall: Great. Couldn’t be happier with your service

Pros: Dependable service for a critical element of running a business

Cons: With a good deal of employee position swapping, using more generic engagement tools like “payroll@teamworks” or “benefits@teamworks.com” could allow for frequent internal teamworks employee movement without causing challenges for third party users.

"Great service for the price!"

Overall: I have had only great experiences with Teamworks! They have always been professional and efficient in their work!

Pros: The service is very easy to use and the staff is friendly and efficient!

"Great service"

Pros: Everyone at Teamworks is easy to reach and provides fast support for any issue we have. There hasn’t been a time where an issue has been unable to be resolved and I know I can turn to Teamworks with any question or concern.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to know who to contact about what issue because there are different people for each department. If I send a question to the wrong person though they are good about making sure it gets to the right one.

"The People Make Teamworks Great"

Overall: It's been good. Getting quartly tax payments with payroll done were very beneficial, both for saving me some costs in taxes, but also with the quick support with just an email, or a few text messages.

Pros: I like that they were referred to me by my accountant that said they were good, and they were. Things were easy, I got support from my point of contact with a simple text message. I've received quarterly emails asking for clarification on my quarterly pay-roll and taxes.

Cons: The online portion was hard to make work, but I think that's more because of my situation being a one-person company than it was any shortcomings of teamwork group software.
