Overall it has taken a lot of my plate personally and I am super grateful for that.

Pros

The team gets back to you promptly and it is very easy to submit reimbursements which I really like.

Cons

I do wish there was a little bit better UI on the website to access everything, some more thought in design would be heavily appreciated.

Personal connections and the intention to scale meant we would probably need someone to manage our benefits and workers compensation eventually so we decided to not do it in house.

Overall I couldn't be more grateful to have you guys as our HR/Payroll company. I know that I have people I can rely on for all my questions and HR needs.

Pros

We have tried multiple other payroll companies and after signing up with you guys I have had so much lifted off of my plate. My administrative tasks are completely a one gal show and having your team behind me has been the best decision we have made this year. I don't have to worry about our payroll taxes, the payroll entry is simple, and the software is very user friendly. Not to mention if I ever have any questions you respond almost immediately and always respond in the most friendly manner.

Cons

The only thing that could improve is the timeliness of payroll being deposited. Some days its a day before payday and other times its the day of. QuickBooks would pay people 2 days early which was really nice and it was always that way so our employees could count on that.

Quickbooks was expensive and Paylogics software was extremely hard to navigate and visually displeasing. They also were unable to fix some payroll taxes being inconsistent with an employee which was frustrating.

Overall the system is easy to use and the support team is great!

Pros

I consistently received quick responses to my requests for assistance and trouble-shooting. This is much appreciated as I like to solve issues quickly and not have to wait and go back to things multiple times.

Cons

Would like a more robust PTO request process. Ex: Ability to adjust employee requests without denying the request and sending back to employee.

So far we have been thankful for the quick and helpful customer service.

Pros

Automatic payment of state and federal taxes is extremely important to our company as well as the unemployment payments since we have employees in multiple states. The customer service and responding quickly to questions is another important feature to us.

Cons

So far it has been better than Paychex in every way!

I've used Teamworks for almost 10 years now. We have gone through many upgrades, employee structure changes, employees, new handbook, etc. Throughout it all, the customer service from \[sensitive content hidden\] has been top-notch. Both are very knowledgeable and patient and have always adequately handled our questions and concerns.

Pros

Teamworks payroll helps tremendously with my hectic schedule. It's easy to use and maximizes my time. The number 1 reason we stay with Teamworks is for the customer service. Our rep is a rockstar!

Cons

Reports. Since the last upgrade, I've had issues with pulling my reports. I'm very thankful for our rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], who has the patience to help me get what is needed.

Pros

Teamworks cares about their clients. Anytime we have need to reach our for guidance or support they have the answer quickly.

Cons

The only knock on Teamworks is that they aren't in house.

They’ve provided excellent and responsive service any times I’ve had a question of issue.

Pros

Teamworks is very cost effective, much less expensive than other PEOs. And their customer service, even for a small startup like mine, has been excellent.

Cons

There are loads of reports available and it would be helpful for more info about which are the most important (such as getting payroll by quarter by person, which I have to look for each time)

With a good deal of employee position swapping, using more generic engagement tools like “payroll@teamworks” or “benefits@teamworks.com” could allow for frequent internal teamworks employee movement without causing challenges for third party users.

There were no aspects of the TWG that I did not like.

We haven't had a single bad experience with Teamworks. The one time payroll MIGHT have been late due to a bank issue, they notified us in advance (and instead of posting at 12 am it still posted by 12pm that day). They are always on top of things and communicate clearly.

Pros

I like how responsive they are and how they work with my needs.

Cons

To add new services you have to follow up. They don't hound you to add their other services. Which can be good, but also if you want those services it's in your court.

Honestly, there are no cons for us at this time they have been great.

It's been good. Getting quartly tax payments with payroll done were very beneficial, both for saving me some costs in taxes, but also with the quick support with just an email, or a few text messages.

Pros

I like that they were referred to me by my accountant that said they were good, and they were. Things were easy, I got support from my point of contact with a simple text message. I've received quarterly emails asking for clarification on my quarterly pay-roll and taxes.

Cons

The online portion was hard to make work, but I think that's more because of my situation being a one-person company than it was any shortcomings of teamwork group software.

Pros

Everyone at Teamworks is easy to reach and provides fast support for any issue we have. There hasn’t been a time where an issue has been unable to be resolved and I know I can turn to Teamworks with any question or concern.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to know who to contact about what issue because there are different people for each department. If I send a question to the wrong person though they are good about making sure it gets to the right one.
