The product has very powerful features that gives me an outstanding and flawless experience. Asset tracking and inventory management has never been so easy than it is with GEAR. Pros GEAR app is based on Google sheets. This makes it easy since most of the inventory data are recorded into the Google Sheets. The user interface of GEAR app is very clean and easy to understand for anyone making it a simple to use product. The integrations with third party products allowed me to use it along the pre-existing products in place like Google drive. It has a laser barcode scanner function that makes it easy to keep track of all inventory documents by scanning them using the tablet or a mobile. The flexibility in terms of adapting to the environment you are working on is very important. It allows remote access from any location using the mobile app. The desktop app and the mobile also works well in that when switching between them, no data or information is lost. Cons I like all features available in the GEAR. I could not ask for more. The customer support is also excellent so incase i am stuck anyone i can easily reach out to them and they are quick to respond. It also works well with Google Drive for faster uploading of relevant files and documents. It is flexible in adapting to your working environment and allows easy to customization based in your needs. The product itself is easy to use for anyone and no special skills are required. It has outstanding data visualization options like graphs making it easy to analyze. It support both desktop and mobile applications allowing remote access. The laser barcode scanner makes it easy and fast to scan documents from mobile devices. Cons There is absolutely nothing i like least about GEAR. Each and every feature functions magnificently and am completely contented with every aspect about it. Tracking equipment before was done manually, with a lot of manual input such as phone calls, verification, and sending photos as proof. With Gear, scanning equipment and tracking inventory is easier and my staff can do it on their phone. Pros In my company, we have a manual system to track the equipment going in and out of our office to our work sites. With my staff scheduled in several teams for varying jobs in a single day, it can be difficult to track which equipment is held by whom. Gear's simple and straightforward system enables me to easily track equipment and allow me to plan accordingly. Cons I have no prior experience in generating QR codes for tracking, and the little background I have with it made trying Gear seem daunting at first. But roll out has been easy and tracking has been easier as my staff can simply use their phones to scan and update the system. I can quickly read barcodes using my iPhone and my Gmail account. I keep track of information like name, quantity, and location in my stock ledger and I know who is handling inventory.
