TheySaid helped me create and test my survey, as well as train the AI to be able to ask informed follow-up questions that were both relevant and impactful. Great product! Pros Creating survey templates and training the AI is very easy and intuitive. The support TheySaid offered was also top notch! Cons I liked all the functionality I used. Nothing bad to say here. We test more, spend less, and the quality held up. It changed how often real customer evidence shows up in our decisions. Pros Every time we wanted to validate a new direction, we used to call an agency or book moderated sessions, and the bill added up fast. That cost quietly decided how often we were even allowed to test, which meant most decisions just shipped on instinct. This changed that completely. We run the studies ourselves, the AI moderates every session and handles the analysis, and there are no per-session charges or agency retainers in the way. The thing I worried about most was whether the insight would be shallow without a human moderator, and it just was not. The follow-up questions it asks when a user hesitates pull out the same kind of detail I used to pay a researcher to get. We went from validating one big bet a quarter to testing three or four directions in the same window. Cons We still occasionally bring in an outside specialist for a very high-stakes study, mostly out of habit and wanting a second set of eyes. Pros The speed at which AI powered user testing and high quality insight synthesis can be done. This leads to being able to rapidly iterate and develop a better product more aligned with our target users faster. It can save time without sacraficing quality when creating studies and tests. I has flexible ways to engage with users so they are comfortable and their feedback is valuable. Ability to critically synthesize what used to take days in minutes. Cons I havent had enough experience with it to answer this question. Although I still think experience in user testing techniques and proesses is valuable to get the best results.
