Pros Its continuous improvement towards becoming a more efficient and effective shop software. With AI integration, and how organized the system is, you can get a lot more work done with precision with less man hours on repetitive tasks. With quickbooks every dollar is tracked accurately so I don't have to go back. Cons I did have some issues - like when there were fields that were required no matter what with no bypass, but in recent updates these have been fixed, and with the correction they've provided many options that you can toggle. I would 100% recommend to anyone needing a software program. Pros This is the best software platform we have ever encountered. The initial set up is very thorough, and \[sensitive content hidden\] was awesome and answered every question we had. They also have live chat agents who helped along the way. Customer Support is awesome. Once you have created a few invoices the platform is so easy and detailed. We absolutely LOVE it. We absolutely love the fact that it automatically calculates a time estimate for the job you are performing and it has been pretty much spot on. Cons To be honest there is nothing to really complain about with this platform. Our customers have questioned only 1 line of our invoice and that is where milage is categorized under parts but it's easy to explain to customers. Pros Shop View was overall a great choice for our growing service shop. Very easy to use, the value for what you get is great and they seem to already have adding a lot of useful tools and new features. Highly recommend it! Cons If I had to write anything negative about the service I would say that some of the features that other software’s had they are missing but we found that we did not need them overall. I have enjoyed the ease of use of the software, as well as the ability to check in on the shop on the go if I am not physically there. The support that comes with ShopView has been next level. If I don't know how to use a feature, the chat box is great for quick questions and the support from my rep is next level. The coaching and support from \[sensitive content hidden\] has been incredible. I truly enjoy this software and the people. I looked through and had multiple other companies that I did a walkthrough with, ShopView made the most sense for our mixed heavy duty, ag, construction and light duty vehicle shop. I enjoy the QB integration as well, it helps me not have to do multiple data entry points. Cons It would be great for our field technicians to clock their time in the field when they don't have service and still be able to work through WO. We are very rural and cell service is very spotty. This has made invoicing so much easier with our customers and vendors, and our techs love the simplicity. Pros It's is a quick, and reliable shop software that you can install in a matter of days with your manager. \[sensitive content hidden\] was really good about getting us informed on what we can do in ShopView, and from there it has been smooth sailing. Our techs have loved it so far since it is so easy to use weather that is clocking in and out of jobs on your phone or laptop, communicating with parts for an order, and creating a schedule that way they know what they have upcoming for the day or week. If you have any questions about it you can always contract your manager and they will reply with an answer within the day. Cons I wish that we had more control over the vendor invoices. Whenever you make a vendor invoice you do have to be perfect otherwise you have to go back and give credit, and make sure it also lines up with your accounting software. Multiple hours spent with all to get a good understanding of the system. They technician frequently let me know that they are really enjoying many areas of the system like the ability to request parts from their work stations. Pros We are fairly new and learning daily, but the thing we like the most is it removes the ability for technicians to clock into "nothing" while still receiving pay. Cons There are a couple of things we don't like but they are being worked on. Things like custom fees, the ability to accurately charge for sublet repairs, and custom premissions. They are very knowledgeable in there software. Pros Ive used several different shop softwares. No pressure to purchase once i contacted ShopView. Customer service and scheduled meetings are very good time managed and not in a rush to get you off the phone. If there is a bug or something you think should be different, they are willing to try to accommodate your request. Once you learn the system it is very easy to use. Auto fill is a bonus. I can access from anywhere ive been in the 3 months using ShopView.pricing is comparable with most other software and cheaper than some others as well. Cons As most, the price could be lower. Lol. So far i have no complaints. As I am not tech savy. Customer support gets me through.
