The drill down feature has been especially useful, letting us click into a report and see the transactions behind it without leaving the sheet and we can invite clients in as viewers too. The support is what stood out most. \[sensitive content hidden\] replied within the hour on an issue, sorted it fast and even recorded a walkthrough video for a setup question. It's not often you get that kind of response from a founder and it made the whole thing easy. Pros Retriever has been a great fit for our bookkeeping firm. We use it to pull QuickBooks reports into Google Sheets for multiple clients and the drill down feature lets us click into any number on a P&L and see the transactions behind it without leaving the sheet. We can also invite clients in as viewers so they can look at their own numbers directly. The support deserves its own mention. \[sensitive content hidden\], is incredibly responsive. He fixed a bug I reported the same evening and even recorded a custom video walking me through a setup question I had. That kind of hands-on help is rare. Great product, even better people behind it. Would recommend to any firm looking to streamline client reporting. Cons Drill down only works on P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports right now, so coverage isn't complete across every report type. Just small limitation and it sounds like more is on the way. I'm very quick to research, browse, and overanalyze every app and tool I use...and then end up not using so much. However, with Retriever, it was so simple to get started that there was no worry that I wouldnt use it. I use my Retriever created reports for meetings with clients because they hate going in Quickbooks and they just want something simple and to the point. Pros The ease of use and how quickly I can get data out to clients in the same format and view that my clients like best. It's a game-changer to have this tool ready to go. Cons In all honesty, there are no true cons. If I had a wish list of what would help me, it would be some design ideas and more prepackaged visuals that can be toggled on and off.
