It allows me to focus on what is important and to serve my investors. The support has been excellent. The platform does what it is intended to do. Constant improvements help me operate the fund in a more manageable manner. Pros Ease of comprehensive fund management Fully service platform Support Customizable fund Back fill option is very helpful Cons The UI has improved a lot but some items could be slightly better. CEO Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Avestor Platform " January 10, 2025 5.0 Pros The service responsiveness and flexibility to adapt to capital raisers needs is by far the largest benefit. There are several options out there but having a company that will respond timely and make changes to accommodate your needs is what you need to be successful Cons The platform can be a bit expensive if you are not 100% prepared to bring in capital. However if you can scale it is definitely worth the cost because the value is there. There might be an accounting shortfall depending on how complex your fund is setup. But this was Cashflow Portal Switched from [InvestNext](https://www.capterra.com/p/185770/InvestNext/) Support, legal structure, and ease of use. The GUI is much simpler to navigate. The knowledge of the fund management industry \[sensitive content hidden\] have, and the connections to other service providers make whatever cost they place their services at WAY below the true value they offer. In my honest opinion, based on having paid over $50K for fund docs, Form D filings, and entity setup and structures in the past, and NOT receiving ANY of the additional benefits that Avestor does provide, not even mentioning the technology, this should easily be a $75K+ product. Pros Their community aspect is top notch. There are plenty of software companies for fund managers, but Avestor adds in the immeasurable benefit of having a community where other Fund Managers are able to network, and collaborate Cons They are based on the West Coast... Pros I love that Avestor offers a customizable fund model—it's truly unique and has made it incredibly easy for me to scale my fund. I can add deals daily, and the user interface is excellent, both for me and my investors. The support team, especially \[sensitive content hidden\], the CEO, is incredibly hands-on, which makes a huge difference. I see Avestor as more than just a service provider; they’re true business partners. Thanks to their support, I’ve grown to over $5 million in AUM with 60+ investors in just one year. It’s not just the technical support; the business support they provide is invaluable. Also they keep improving on technology and adding features based on feedback from fund managers. Cons It's hard for me to point out anything I genuinely dislike about Avestor. If I were to suggest an improvement, perhaps a comprehensive one-hour video tutorial covering all the tools Avestor offers would be helpful for new fund managers. That said, they already provide in-person training, which has been incredibly beneficial. I know they care about their product and making their customers happy. I have recommended the platform to many of my friends and associates. Pros I love that the company is still small and I know all of the founders and many of the employees quite well. They are nimble and can pivot with the market needs. They listen to us and implement features quickly. They have a weekly mastermind where they provide a ton of value through product partnerships and sponsor introductions, as well as personal support. Provide not just SAAS but a comprehensive platform and ecosystem around it. Constantly thinking of ways to enable fund managers to be successful by providing marketing experts, other service consultants to help fund managers scale. Cons Little overwhelming in the beginning to learn, but support community and self help site makes it easier. Can get pricey as the AUM grows.
