Wir haben nach einer Lösung gesucht, um Support- und Produktvideos zuverlässig zu hosten und in unser eigenes Webseiten-Design einzubinden. Zudem war uns eine DSGVO konforme, einfache Einbindung wichtig. Die Technologie hinter Ignite hat uns überzeugt, ebenso die faire und transparente Preisgestaltung, die mit unserem Wachstum mitskaliert.

Pros

Gute Lösung um Support- und Produktvideos zu hosten. Der Support bei der Integration war hilfreich, wir konnten die Probezeit verlängern und uns bei Bedarf persönlich abstimmen. Die Preise sind transparent und skalieren fair mit dem eigenen Wachstum.

Cons

Aktuell fällt mir nichts ein. Uns als technologiegetriebenem Unternehmen ist EU-Hosting wichtig, und hier ist Ignite gut aufgestellt.

Ich war vorher bei Vimeo. Das war aber wegen der Datenschutzbestimmungen und der US-Server für meine Kursinhalte rechtlich einfach nicht mehr tragbar. Die Software ist extrem einfach zu bedienen und läuft ohne Probleme. Das Hosting in Europa gibt mir die nötige Rechtssicherheit für meine Kundenprojekte.

Pros

Der Passwortschutz greift sofort und die Videos streamen extrem flüssig. Die automatische Transkription ist eine echte Erleichterung. Der Support reagiert blitzschnell und hilft auch bei speziellen Wünschen sofort weiter.

Cons

Bisher ist mir noch nichts Negatives aufgefallen. Das System tut genau was es verspricht. Habe noch keinen einzigen Kritikpunkt gefunden.

We've been using Ignite as our video hosting platform and have been very satisfied with the experience. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and provides all the functionality we need to securely host and share videos with our audience. One of the reasons we moved away from our former platform was concerns around privacy and data governance. With Ignite, we feel much more comfortable knowing the platform is European-managed and places a strong focus on data protection and compliance.

Pros

The customer support team has been responsive and very helpful whenever we had questions. Their response time was very short and their responses to the point.

Cons

If I have to come up with something I do not like about Ignite, it would have to be the fact that I didn't find out about them earlier.

Ignite macht genau das, wofür ich es brauche. Der Player fügt sich in die Website ein ohne Fremdbranding, cookie-frei, rechtlich sauber. Upload und Sharing laufen unkompliziert. Der Support ist schnell und kompetent. Als Agentur gibt es die Möglichkeit, Kundenprojekte mit entsprechenden Zugängen sauber voneinander zu trennen und den Kunden den Zugang zu erleichtern – super Sache!

Pros

Der unsichtbare Player ist für mich der entscheidende Punkt, kein Logo, kein Ignite-Branding, einfach saubere Integration die zum eigenen Design passt. Cookie-freies Einbetten bedeutet kein Banner, kein rechtliches Risiko. Videos mit Kunden teilen ist in Sekunden erledigt. Customer Management ist proaktiv und offen, das ist nicht selbstverständlich.

Cons

Ich nutze Ignite noch nicht so lange, dass sich echte Schwachstellen gezeigt hätten. Bisher gibt es nichts, das mich gebremst oder gestört hätte.

Bei Vimeo war Cookie-Consent irgendwann Pflicht, auch mit do-not-track Parameter. Für mich als Designer, der Videos nahtlos ohne Playerbuttons und mit Autoplay in Seiten einbettet, war das keine Lösung mehr. Hinzu kamen rechtliche Bedenken und administrative Probleme mit simplen Dingen wie einer Rechnung.

Nach meiner Recherche hat Ignite das Thema cookie-freies Einbetten am saubersten gelöst, rechtlich sauber, ohne Banner. Dazu kommt der unsichtbare Player ohne Fremdbranding, für mich als Brand Designer nicht verhandelbar. Ignite hat außerdem einen eigenen Agenturaccount, unabhängig von laufenden Kundenprojekten. Das hat mich überzeugt.

Ich habe mir verschiedene Video Hosting Lösungen angeschaut und auch einiges ausprobiert. Ignite ist für mich eine der Lösungen, die technisch und beim Thema Datenschutz am wenigsten Diskussionen auslöst. Wir können Videos in Europa hosten, sauber in interne und externe Websites einbetten, ohne Fremdbranding arbeiten und Autoplay Content einsetzen, ohne jedes Mal ein Cookie Banner Thema daraus zu machen. Es ist nicht überladen, sondern pragmatisch. Genau das macht es im Arbeitsalltag nützlich.

Pros

Mir gefällt am besten, dass Ignite die praktischen Probleme beim Video Hosting löst, ohne daraus ein großes Tool Thema zu machen. Upload, Teilen und Einbetten funktionieren unkompliziert. Der Player hat kein Fremdbranding und wirkt auf der Website oder im CMS wie ein nativer Bestandteil der eigenen Seite. Für uns sind EU Hosting, schnelle Ladezeiten, Domain Whitelist und SSO genau die Punkte, die im Alltag zählen.

Cons

Aktuell habe ich keinen echten Nachteil zu nennen. Wir nutzen Ignite gezielt für sicheres Video Hosting, interne Videos, Website Einbettungen und Autoplay Content. In diesem Rahmen macht es genau das, was wir brauchen, ohne viel Reibung.

Sehr positiv. Die Plattform ist übersichtlich, funktioniert zuverlässig und lässt sich ohne großen Aufwand nutzen. Besonders schätze ich, dass alles einfach gehalten ist und trotzdem eine hohe Qualität liefert.

Pros

Mir war wichtig, eine einfache und datenschutzkonforme Lösung aus Europa zu nutzen. Ignite hat mich durch die klaren Strukturen, die Testmöglichkeiten und den deutschen Anbieter überzeugt. Gerade für unsere Anforderungen im kirchlichen Umfeld passt das sehr gut.

Kann ich bisher wenig zu sagen - bisher hat alles geklappt. Zudem gibt es einen sehr persönlichen Support, mit Menschen, die eMails schreiben. Es ist also eine Firma, die wichtigen Kundenkontakt nicht der KI überlässt.

Wir hatten vorher keinen Anbieter, der cookiefreies Hosting mit einem neutralen Player kombiniert. Gleichzeitig wollten wir keine externe Plattform sichtbar einbinden. Ignite hat genau diese Lücke geschlossen. Das kürzlich angepasste Abomodell passt für unseren Use Case sogar besser, weil wir viele kurze Videos nutzen und diese jetzt effizienter abbilden können.

Pros

Sauberer Player ohne Logo, einfache Integration ins CMS und schneller Upload. Die Umstellung auf ein Zeitkontingent statt Anzahl an Videos ist für uns deutlich effizienter, weil wir viele kurze Inhalte haben.

Cons

Aktuell keine konkreten Nachteile im Einsatz. Das geänderte Abomodell passt jetzt perfekt, keine Einschränkungen mehr.

Ignite hat uns überzeugt, weil Datenschutz von Anfang an mitgedacht wird, ohne Zusatztools oder komplizierte Konfigurationen. Zugleich war das Onboarding mit Ignite einfacher denn je, selbst neu hinzugefügte User fanden sich im Backend nach wenigen Minuten zurecht und waren begeistert. Diese Unkompliziertheit zieht sich durch das gesamte Konzept von Ignite, kein langes Suchen nach Embedding-URLs, kein komplizierter Onboarding-Prozess, keine versteckten Funktionen, alles transparent, performant und zuverlässig.

Sehr einfache Umsetzung von Livestreams, klare und verständliche Benutzeroberfläche, hoher Komfort für Zuschauer, echte DSGVO‑Konformität ohne Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten, schneller Support, deutscher/europäischer Anbieter.

Gleichzeitig bleibt der technische Aufwand überschaubar – und genau das brauchen wir.

Für mich ist der größte Vorteil der hohe Datenschutz bei einem europäischen Anbieter. Gerade im Gesundheitsbereich ist das für uns nicht verhandelbar. Gleichzeitig ist Ignite technisch unkompliziert: Upload, Einbindung auf der Website, Qualität – alles läuft stabil. Keine Werbung, kein unnötiges Tracking, keine US-Abhängigkeit. It becomes clear right from the preliminary discussion: the company \[sensitive content hidden\] here work with the wishes of their customers and website visitors in mind. And they make sure that no question is left unanswered. The first impression is convincing: a clear and concise structure that is easy to navigate. Setup is quick and easy. Impression after months of use: the player displays uploaded videos in very good quality and always works flawlessly, quickly and reliably. As the owner of a PR and management consultancy, both data protection and high-quality video presentation with excellent UX are important to me. The company's communication is also impressive: Ignite is very helpful, competent and friendly when it comes to direct questions. And when newsletters are sent out, it's always worth reading them: there are always new features and helpful tips.

Pros

The \[sensitive content hidden\] pay attention to both data protection AND a good UX – you can tell that they put their heart and soul into their work and platform and are constantly developing it further.

Cons

At the beginning, there were one or two features that I missed, but these have since been added to the platform. So far, there is simply nothing to complain about.
