Unparalleled customer support. Terrific partnership with everyone on their team. They really take the time to understand our pain points and opportunities. Have distinguished themselves as a standout leader in not comp expertise, but also UI/UX, Client Success, and overall HR tech.

Pros

Every single employee from IC to \[sensitive content hidden\] had great things to say about Stello. Intuitive came up over and over. Ease of use. We've now started using it for our quarterly bonus statements and not just year-end comp. And they actually integrate to ADP Lyric which almost no one does.

Cons

I can't say there was anything we liked least. Our biggest hurdle was implementation timeline and that was because we made the choice to switch providers late in the year.

The team at Stello AI is top notch. They provided excellent support throughout our cycle and were extremely responsive to questions. While the platform is still new, we did not experience the issues that sometimes come with using a new tool. There is a slight learning curve to using the platform but I found it much easier to pick up than a previous comp review tool I've used. I hope to never run another comp review again without Stello AI.

Pros

Stello AI drastically reduced complexity around our compensation review process. Their integration with our HRIS made it incredibly easy to get started with our comp review cycle. Stello AI allowed us to move away from sheets, which increased accuracy overall. The built in tool to generate statements as well as access to insights we've never had before related to budgeting were enormously helpful.

Cons

The only hiccups we experienced were related to Stello AI being a newer platform, i.e things like some login challenges or more enhanced features not yet built out. However, any issues we encountered were quickly resolved.

Incredibly positive. I consider the team a true compensation partner (their consulting for our equity refresh program - incredible!), and look forward to our future on the platform.

Pros

Before Stello, we didn't have a formal annual compensation cycle - merit was handled ad hoc, which made it more difficult to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization. Stello gave us the structure to run a real merit cycle, with a clean, intuitive workflow that our senior leaders - who are the primary users during the cycle - picked up quickly and actually enjoy using. The approval and submission experience is polished in a way that makes exec adoption essentially a non-issue, which is not something I can say about most HR software. The integrated and flexible total rewards statements are a standout feature. We use them to communicate annual compensation changes to all employees and as a tool for managers to have clear, confident conversations with their direct reports. Being able to customize statements by employee scenario and include benefits alongside base pay, bonus, and equity in one place is invaluable. But my favorite part has been the Stello team! They have been an incredible partner - highly responsive and clearly invested in our success as a customer.

Cons

As a growing platform, there are occasionally features I'd like to use more regularly (we have a more complex bonus calculation that our accounting team handles on a monthly basis and benchmarking workflows outside of the annual cycle) that I'm still working into our routine. That's less a criticism and more a reflection of how quickly they're building - the roadmap is strong, and I expect our usage to continue to expand as the product matures.
