Overall, Bestpass has been a highly reliable and efficient toll‑management solution. The platform simplifies billing by consolidating all toll activity into a single, easy‑to‑audit statement, which significantly reduces administrative workload. Coverage across major toll networks is strong, and customer support has consistently been responsive and knowledgeable.

Pros

consolidates billing into one monthly statement; easy to use; customer service is responsive and friendly

Cons

slight delays in toll posting on a monthly basis compared to say Penske for example. I have been billed by Penske and cannot reconcile with Bestpass for at least 2 weeks.

Overall very positive. Christenson management worked out some problems with the auto-replenishment on our account and things have been going well.

Pros

The portal is is simple to navigate and user friendly. My customer success manager does a great job.

Cons

The Ability to pay plate-pay notices via the portal makes he time I have to spend dealing with plate pay notices minimal.

It's been a few months, but things are progressing nicely. We are working to understand the site, reporting, and where we need to improve as a team. It's been a very positive experience.

Pros

They were willing to provide a customer success manager that acts as a real partner in the relationship. They provide guidance, support, and education.

Cons

Nobody enjoys a new hardware rollout. We all agreed the product was superior to the current technology and partnership. We decided to rip off the band aid. The rollout went smooth when compared to previous roll outs. Returning our old hardware was the nightmare and justified the reason we converted to Bestpass.

They were not interested in listening to our needs. They refused to provide a customer success manager and hold regular cadence meetings. The were not acting as true partner and alerting us to anything we needed to focus on. No dashboard either. They were only interested in offering us a discount to appease.

Overall, a very great product/offering. I would recommend this to anyone looking to manage a fleet, no matter the size.

Pros

Loved the ease of use. Simplied all our tools and gave us one less thing to worry about. The website interface was extremely polished as well.

Not really a con, but had some difficulty with data integration and lack of communication from the support team.

After having used Bestpass for a couple of months, I am already convinced that it is a solid value. It has saved my drivers time and headaches dealing with individuals stops while under a load.

Pros

Stellar customer support. I have never had any trouble reaching someone to help when I needed it. And even more importantly, to reach someone who could actually help me instead of sending me through layers of gatekeepers.

Cons

I do wish that the billing format was a bit more detailed. I was not clear initially on the split cost between the prepass and the toll pass portion of the invoice. The separate transaction summary is very helpful, though.

Anytime I have a question or I need assistance they are willing to help. Their Customer Success Managers are knowledgeable and friendly. I love how I can look up information on the portal.

Pros

Their Customer Service is great! They offer a lot of toll coverage and they also offer Canadian toll transponders as well. Their website is user friendly. Just positive things all the way around!

Cons

Honestly, there really isn't anything I do not like about BestPass. I have always had a great experience with them.

Overall, we consider Bestpass a valuable business partner when it comes to keeping track of our trucks and transponders. Being able to download a list of transponders into an excel and compare it with our system is extremely helpful in keeping everything up to date.

Pros

The Bestpass website is very user friendly and convenient. We make a lot of tractor reassignments and it is quick and easy to make these changes with the software. The Bestpass staff is always friendly and helpful when we have questions.

Cons

The only complaint we would have is with the software upgrade makes it that we now have to scroll over to the right to get to the edit button.

We've been using Bestpass for our fleet management needs, and I can't say enough good things about our Customer Success Manager Scott Tabor. From day one, he has gone above and beyond to ensure our experience is smooth and efficient. The platform itself is incredibly easy to use, with intuitive features that make toll management and reporting a breeze. It's clear that Bestpass offers great value-we save both time and costs! What truly sets Bestpass apart is the outstanding customer support. Scott is always available, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping our fleet succeed. He consistently goes the extra mile, offering tailored recommendations that improve our operations and keep us ahead.

Pros

What I appreciate most about Bestpass is how it simplifies toll management for our fleet. With everything centralized in one intuitive portal, making it easy to track tolls by vehicle, location, or date. The single monthly statement and on-demand reporting with advanced analytics save us hours of manual work and give us clear visibility into our toll spend. Also, really like that Bestpass offers 100% major toll road coverage, including toll-by-plate backup, which ensures we’re covered even outside our primary regions.

Cons

While Bestpass is excellent overall, I’d love to see improvements in the process for ordering multiple toll devices through the portal. Right now, it feels a bit manual and time-consuming. A more streamlined, bulk-ordering feature on portal with better tracking and customization options would make a big difference for fleet coordinators managing large volume orders.

Pros

They have great customer support. We are set up with an amazing Customer Success Manager who goes over our account in detail and helps us understand the information and even directs us on how we can save more on toll. They also provide a live chat if you need help with something quickly

Cons

Sometimes the account runs slow, it could be on our end, but I did notice progress when they upgraded the layout of the website recently. Also, I think the reporting can get a little confusing but that I think that's just because there's a lot of information; but with having good customer support, it's easy to get the answers I'm looking for if I'm having trouble.

It's easy and wonderful. Frankly, it seems almost too easy. Even my sales rep was awesome. He helped me get started with ease. We have a small fleet, but he didn't care. He treated me as if I had a larger fleet.

Pros

It's easy to install and easy to monitor. I love the reports and the database of information. I can skim for specific data by driver without much effort.

Cons

I wish that there was a pass for a specific state that doesn't currently have one without needing to purchase a Complete Pass. This may not be Best Pass' problem however. It could be the local toll authority.

My overall experience with Bestpass has been good, both with customer service and ease of use of the customer portal.

Pros

Excellent customer service provided by our Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] Our inquires and need for assistance is always addressed with accuracy and a sense of urgency. The Bestpass portal is easy to use and it's very beneficial to have control of certain elements like re-assigning and renaming transponders.

Cons

We have a few transponders that are properly installed and working however, we occasionally receive toll citations for those very transponders. We end up having to pay these fines.

Completely positive, a win-win all around, our drivers are happy, our sales rep is amazing, we don't have to expense tolls any longer - we have had the best experience using Bestpass.

Pros

First, our rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], is the reason this program is so successful and is so expertly run. She is a true asset to your organization, and should be recognized for always going above and beyond for us. I am sure she is like that with all of her accounts. \[sensitive content hidden\] is knowledgeable, professional, and a sincere pleasure to deal with. We would be lost without her. I have been in this field a VERY long time, and I can literally count on two hands after all this time the vendors who make a difference, who provide excellent customer service, who truly care about their accounts, and again, go above and beyond. \[sensitive content hidden\] is number 8. And that speaks volumes. Please extend to her our thanks for always doing such a wonderful job for us. She is dedicated, loyal, and respected beyond measure. It's been great, I've had a lot of questions for Glady's as this was given to me when they let someone go.

Pros

I like that it's user friendly and easy to move around in the system to find what you need to lookup.

Cons

Still learning the in's and out's of some of the reports that can be ran and used to match up with our side of things.

Gladys is amazing to work with and super quick on answering any questions. We had a meeting today where we went over the website more in depth and showing different reports we can run, it was super helpful!

Customer service is super quick on responses. Website is easy to use. We have a large fleet so being able to do everything on one site is amazing!

I just recently started training to help out with Bestpass and I have not had any issues that I have ran across.

6.We implemented BestPass in 2021 for cost savings and being able to have transponder flexibility. Again, customer service has been good so far in the partnership.

Pros

We really like BestPass’ chat support feature on their website and overall customer service. It has helped us resolve issues quickly.

Cons

Sometimes it the responders are not recognized in certain states causing delays. We report the issue and usually receive a response or solution within a day or so.

We love Bestpass! It is easy to use. Customer support is amazing, always helpful. On the rare occasion a toll gets missed and we get a toll fee in the mail; it is so easy to upload it on the site and Bestpass takes care of it immediately.

Pros

These devices are slim and do not take up a lot of room on the dash. Easy to use. Easy to install in our trucks.

Cons

If I had to have a con the only thing I can think of is when you send a device back, you do have to pay for the shipping yourself. However, I am sure that is pretty standard with any device with any company.

My overall experience with Bestpass has been outstanding! With the tremendous volume of tolls that our company has, Bestpass plays a major role in the oversight of our toll expenditures and we would not be nearly effective in our toll management without them.

Pros

I am extremely impressed with the customer service at Bestpass. They are always very responsive to any questions or needs that arise. They help resolve issues timely and are always willing to take the time to explain any questions that come about.

Cons

I am actually very pleased with Bestpass and do not have anything negative to say about them at this time.

Overall since I started using Bestpass in April it had been a great tool. It has been very easy to learn

I love the website and the ease of it, as I am new to O'Reilly and I have learning to use Bestpass for our toll activity.

I would like to see the alerts stay on the main screen, because right now once you click the alerts they go away and you can't go back and view them

overall i'm satsified with Drivewyze / best pass and would recommend it for ease of use. Drivers seem to like it.

Pros

Its is easy for a drivers to use. they understand it and the app seems to run smooth. Cost is reasonable.

Cons

I wish someone would do reporting for us on who is not using the app or not logging in or what trucks probably don't need to be enrolled.

As our company needs have exploded exponentially, Best Pass has grown and developed at the same break-neck speed offering solutions and technology far ahead of their competitors. We value our customer support most of all. Whether our issues are large or small, there is always a network of resources and support. I personally appreciate having direct support contact- real people ready to take your calls to resolve issues and answer questions. They are always knowledgeable, patient and use terminology anyone can understand.

Pros

Best Pass' wide range of coverage options are unbeatable, and customer support won our loyalty years ago.

Cons

That's a tough question; nothing really comes to mind. Coverage is great, customer support, continuous improvements and latest innovations in our industry; Best Pass is always at the forefront!
