I believe it's a great system overall to use as a centralised system that all builds can integrate into. I believe it has a lot of potential to be used by staff and residents to build manage and report on services throughout the authority.

Pros

Centralised system where all data can be accessed, recorded and reported, easy to use and connect to environments. Seamlessly copy's data from environments to Citizens Hub via API allowing for a set and forget systems. User friends agent interface to be able to look through cases and get reports.

Cons

Extra rules and subsets need to be created per system/service making building more tedious and relation ship paths have to be correct making builds more complex. Ongoing DNS issues with Netcall (still waiting for an update) causing some emails to fail, in turn causing much more admin work unlocking and changing passwords for residents.

We've been using Netcall's Citizen Hub, built on the Liberty low-code platform, for nearly four years now, and it’s played a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation. Features like workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), and a suite of ready-to-use apps, modules and widgets, have empowered us to successfully develop systems for Environmental Waste Services, HR (Recruitment & Application tracking) and Information Governance (Freedom of Information). What stands out is how the low-code approach enables our small team, even those without coding experience, to build and deploy applications efficiently. The platform has helped us streamline processes significantly, and the active community forum and user group provide valuable support and inspiration. Their proactive return to the traditional in-person user conference model not only fosters peer-to-peer networking among professionals facing similar challenges, but also highlights innovative solutions and offers interactive insights into the platform’s development roadmap.

Pros

Low-Code Accessibility - Workflow & RPA Integration - Modular & Reusable Components - Active User Community - Scalability Across Services

Cons

Whilst low-code is accessible, more advanced workflows or integrations can still require some technical input. Documentation could be more comprehensive, especially for newer features.
