My clients and I are happy to have an organized space for all the things needed when providing pet care. Pros It makes everything so organized and I love having everything all in one place. Before I was just using Google calendar and chasing down invoices. My clients don't have to reach out all the time to see my calendar and they all seem happy. Cons Although everything is organized, there are few tweaks here and there and some features I'd love to see in the future. I can amend and change and just control everything in the one place, really great product. Pros How easy it is for a first time user to use, I have never set up a booking system before and Scritches made it super easy. Cons I find that my 'availability" calender doesn't match my actual schedule, not sure how to fix that. I'm not sure if it's a setting in my schedule that Im not using that populates in the availability screen or not but haven't quite figured it out. The ability to have all of my pet biz information on one platform is super handy for me and clears alot of digital clutter. When I've reached out to customer support they've been super helpful. I hope to start using more features (like the report cards and scheduling) as my business grows, but for now this bit of automation is a great value for my small business. Pros For me - the scheduling feature is really nice as well as the ability for both me and my clients to view bookings/invoices through a shared portal. I also like that I can view my invoices and their status all in one place. We won't talk about the wild spreadsheet situation that used to be my system! Cons There are currently more features than what I'm using so I'm working up in my comfort level with each of them. After using well known platforms and apps for years and constantly having glitches it became tiresome. I also have liked that Scritches has a fun approach to how pet report cards are shown. It's been extremely easy for clients to request bookings, and for me to limit how many visits per day to take on. In the past, not having that option would at times cause overbooking and a lot of extra work. Pros Scritches has been very easy for myself and clients to navigate. I like that it does not require an app, therefore less glitches and bugs. My clients have enjoyed seeing the "emotional" report cards and the emojis that show how their pets mood was during visits as well. Cons My least favorite thing about Scritches is that it does not offer an instant payout through the stripe processing platform. And that it currently does not have an option for clients to communicate with me through Scritches. Outside of the issues and bugs. Everything has gone smooth. The team is fast to respond to issues. Pros I really liked the easy interface and the minimal field to it. It’s definitely not hard to use. It’s not bulky at all. Cons I think the bugs and issues that keep reoccurring. can make things a little frustrating when using the app and making it feel like the price point is a little steep for the reoccurring issues. They find it very easy to book overnight pet sitting and also dog walking Pros I love how scritches is so easy to use and everything is consolidated into one platform and has a portal that customers can login, manage their pets and book appointments, specifically overnight pet sitting. Cons I wish that scritches could have stripe integration into my already existing stripe business account. That would be great! Also allow more branding from my brand to be across the whole platform, rather than the Scritches logo. It did not even have the basics I needed to operate. I wanted a Kennel Card that I could print with all the dogs information. They did not have that. I emailed a few times and the last email was left unanswered. Today I received an email asking for this review. Pros Price that was about it. I like it was a small company, thought I would have good support. I was looking to spend less..... I paid upfront. Cons Support was not great at all, last email was July 4th, until today when they asked for a review. I had heard of other pet service platforms, but I enjoy the layout/aesthetics of Scritches. Cons A bit complex for me when it comes to organizing, and finding forms, navigating. The first software we tried simply wasn't built for this type of business, and after a good bit of research, we discovered Scritches. 100% game changer, and I'm glad we made the move early in our business instead of waiting. Pros There are so many pros to this app that I wouldn't even know where to start, but to scratch the surface, it's so easy to use! Cons Some of my clients have had issues accessing the app, but I can't be sure whether it's due to the app itself or to personal struggles with technology. I'm a relatively new user, and I have had a pretty good experience so far. Setup was easy, I was able to "test" out services with dummy clients and setups. Their feedback/bug reports are amazing -- I almost always get a response quickly, which is super helpful. Pros I like that it is set up for people like me -- independent, no additional staff, and affordable! Intake forms was most appreciated. Cons It is still working out some kinks, so that is understandable. VERY NEEDED is an in-app messaging system. Report cards are great, but I often send updates throughout the stay and don't want to give out my personal cell phone just to send a quick photo. Also, just an app overall would make life easier with communication and for pet parent portal.
