From the very start, the process and experience were simple. Some of our volunteers, with no actual event experience, were able to jump in and get an event published in minutes.

Pros

Simplicity. Setting up an event was so easy. You are led through the process, without it being patronising, and from our very first event, everything ran smoothly. Responsiveness. When we did run into a problem, support were on it! The very few issues we had were dealt with within hours, and support was kind and listened to the problem showing extensive knowledge. Value. This amazing service is essentially free! Innovation. The features available are amazing. The waitlist functionality allowed our volunteers to concentrate on the veent instead of trawling through emails to find a customer to fill a spot. Other tweaks that we wanted were considered, and, if not totally crazy, added without fuss or problem. Privacy. There was no need to link every other social media account or other detail to our Simpli account. There was no requirement to use an advertising channel we did not want or need. We all felt that our privacy and that of our customers was valued and protected. Integration. Seamless integration with Stripe meant that we were not having to chase up payments or try to shoehorn a different payments platform into our flow.

Cons

We honestly loved everything. If not for actually closing the company because of retirement, we would be continuing with Simpli forever.

Pros

The platform is straightforward, has great functionality, and best of all is the customer service. Whenever I have an issue, a real human messages me back! They are reassuring and know exactly how to meet my needs.

Cons

Needs find a way to be a connected to/advertise community events. Eventbrite advertises events pretty clearly. Simpli seems a little more private.

Overall, my experience with Simpli Events has been excellent. It's intuitive, reliable, and packed with useful features that make event management much easier. We are so happy that we have made the switch from Eventbrite to Simpli. Also, the support team has been fantastic! \[sensitive content hidden\] was extremely attentive and resolved my concern right away. While there’s still room for improvement in a few areas, the platform has saved us time and made our registration process much more efficient.

Pros

I really appreciate that it’s a Canadian platform and incredibly user-friendly. It offers all the features we need, e.g. customizable fields, straightforward reporting and data export, flexible email reminder options, and it's free to use. The intuitive interface makes setup and management quick and hassle-free.

Cons

There’s currently no option to cancel a registration/order directly from the confirmation email. Additionally, calendar integration is limited to Google Calendar. I’d love to see support for other platforms like Outlook as well.

Our attendees find it complicated (you have to have an account, and sometimes, some people dont want to have an eventbrite account); and for me as an admin/organizer, the fields are not that customizable and user-friendly, and I am unable to export the fields that I need in my report.

We hosted a conference and used Simpli as our ticketing platform. It was very easy to set the event up and for our attendees to purchase tickets. We didn't use the check-in feature but I like that it was available. I would use Simpli over other ticketing platforms.

Pros

As the name hints, it's very simple to use. We had a diverse group of attendees and they provided feedback that the platform was very easy to use. The back end for those managing the event is straightforward as well. It was also easy to set up our payment platform. The support team chat is VERY fast and helpful as well.

Cons

The UI is a bit simplistic but I wouldn't want that to charge at the expense of usability. I don't have any other comments on how it can be improved.
