The DATS team has proved to be super helpful and friendly. The cost for use is consistent, with no surprise charges, and the IT team is very capable and responsive, with most questions answered or problems solved within minutes. Pros In the over 10 years we have been using the DATS interface we have found it to be very reliable and comprehensive. The main modules we depend on are its LMS for delivering and tracking training compliance for 350+ workers, and the Investigations module for tracking Safety related incidents. These, along with the other well integrated modules, have streamlined many processes and created a fantastic resource of information easily accessed by those who need it. We don't hesitate to recommend it for small or large companies. Cons Customizing print settings to print text large enough to read can be a challenge on certain reports and forms. I often resort to exporting the data as a csv, so I can have more control on how things are displayed. We began our journey with DATS shortly after our first external safety audit. When it came time to re-certify, the audit process was so much easier and received high praise from the auditor. It was such a breath of fresh air moving from stacks of large binders to a one-stop shop for our health & safety needs. The "dot" system utilized in DATS makes it very easy to see where your organization stands for safety compliance and explaining it to newcomers is just as easy. You'll know within seconds if something needs attention. The team at DATS provides customer service that is second to none. Over the years, they have listened to every idea that I have thrown their way, and some have even turned into new modules. You will not be left behind if you choose DATS. Even after 7+ years, we still have regular check-ins to ensure everything is going smooth, to review product updates, and to discuss ideas.
