Our overall experience has been excellent. The reason we moved away from Railway was that we wanted deployments to become less of an engineering concern. Kuberns delivered exactly that. The agentic AI deployment workflow removes much of the operational work that normally surrounds releases. We now spend less time discussing infrastructure and more time shipping product improvements. For teams looking to reduce DevOps overhead without sacrificing reliability, Kuberns is a very compelling option.

Pros

We were using Railway before Kuberns. Railway was easy to start with, but as our product grew, we found ourselves spending more time than expected dealing with deployments, environment management, and infrastructure-related decisions. What made us switch was Kuberns' agentic AI approach. Instead of treating deployments as another engineering responsibility, the platform actively handles deployment workflows, scaling, and operational tasks on our behalf. It feels less like a hosting platform and more like having an infrastructure engineer built into the deployment process. The biggest benefit has been the amount of engineering time we've gotten back. Releases happen faster, there is less operational overhead, and our team can focus on product development instead of deployment management.

Cons

The platform works differently from traditional deployment services, so there is a small mindset shift involved. Our team was used to manually controlling and monitoring every deployment step. Once we became familiar with the workflow, that concern largely disappeared. More advanced deployment reporting would be useful, but it hasn't affected our day-to-day experience.

Our experience has been extremely positive. The biggest benefit has been removing deployment complexity from our daily workflow. Instead of engineers spending time on infrastructure management, the platform handles most operational tasks automatically through its agentic AI system. This has improved release speed, reduced deployment-related interruptions, and allowed the team to focus on product development. The platform feels like a step forward from traditional deployment services and has become an important part of how we ship software today.

Pros

We moved from Heroku because we wanted a more modern deployment experience. Heroku was great for getting started, but over time it felt like innovation had slowed down, especially after the free tier was removed and fewer platform improvements were being introduced. What attracted us to Kuberns was its agentic AI deployment approach. Instead of manually managing infrastructure, deployment configurations, scaling, and operational tasks, the AI agent handles most of that automatically. The result is a much smoother deployment workflow. Our engineers spend less time thinking about infrastructure and more time building product features. Deployments are faster, releases are more predictable, and the overall experience feels significantly more modern than traditional deployment platforms. The pricing is also straightforward and provides excellent value compared to maintaining infrastructure ourselves.

Cons

The platform introduces a different way of working compared to traditional cloud platforms. Initially, our team wanted to manually verify deployment steps because that was what we were used to. Once we became comfortable with the agentic AI workflow, that concern largely disappeared. More deployment analytics and deeper infrastructure visibility would be a nice addition for teams that enjoy monitoring operational metrics closely.
