Cons Since the nature of literature in my project is legal cases, many AI models were not available to detect text in such documents. This prompted me to create vocabulary fields, limiting the type and amount of data that needed to be extracted. Pros Laser AI is an excellent platform for systematic reviews in health research. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making the screening and data extraction processes much more efficient. I also value the collaborative features, which allow multiple reviewers to work on the same project with transparency. Cons The main issue I experienced is with the reference loading process. The platform currently loads items in batches of 50, and every time I request the next 50, it scrolls back to the first study on the list, which is unproductive. Another limitation is in task distribution: it would be very helpful to have the option to assign 100% of the references to two reviewers for independent screening.
