The data is accurate for purchasing which is helpful. I’ve used other software quoting tools as well as spreadsheets. Calcuquote being all in one helps consolidate a lot of work. The financial summary information is detailed (and a bit excessive, there is something for everyone all listed out). The needs of our business are well met. Pros First and best, the service and support teams are fantastic. They are fully engaged in making sure we have solved the problem we go to them for. I could call out every member of the team for some thing or another they've done to help me. It’s a very simple tool to use once its set up. We use it for full service quoting including labor, materials, NRE, profit and margin review details. Supplier integration is strong, user friendly from their side as well. We are early into their BOM data scrub and so far I like what I see regarding life cycle and availability. Cons We have not kept as up to date on changes and development as we should have. The new offerings add another layer of support that we need to be getting in on, and are starting now. I do wish we had a little more proactive push from their side on what the changes look like and how to incorporate them sooner. Some of that has been personnel change driven on our side. Garbage in stays forever, it learns off our inputs so if we are not very diligent we end up with long term errors (in part type/labor related) Setting up the data behind the labor cost model was not easy and its not perfect, we know we have some room to improve there. We see feedback on features and improvement ideas show up in their roadmap and in the monthly updates. We benefit from their efforts to improve their system for all users. Pros CalcuQuote is an integral part of our quoting and price negotiation processes. The updated user interface has improved the speed and ease of use. Key features (APIs, BOM health, alternate sourcing functionality, etc.) enable us to obtain competitive, comprehensive costing information faster than our previous system. Best of all is the people! The CQ support team is knowledgeable and responds quickly when we have questions. The online chat feature is great; it's like having a friendly expert instantly available whenever you need them! Cons Nothing is perfect but there is not a lot to complain about. Their continuous improvement approach identifies features and functionality needs and incorporates them in ongoing monthy updates. I look forward to learning more of what CalcuQuote has to offer. Having the ability to gather information, format and print from one source is an incredible tool to streamline the quoting process. Pros Calucuquote is quite versatile. We are able to develop quotes to suit our customers needs. Quotes can be general or as detailed as the customer requires. Cons I found it a little inconvenient that I had to enter so much information at the beginning. It would be nice to be able to enter basic info on upcoming or waiting quotes as a place holder.
