I've been doing product and catalog data management in ecommerce industry for over 3 years now and will shout from the rooftops how good of a service and tool this already is and where it is heading. My only concern is that my competitors will get this software before me. The world is in an AI arms race and you want to have a team and tool like Merchkit at your disposal. If your business is not using AI, you are going to be left behind. Happy to be a reference if anyone is considering using Merchkit for their PIM systems in their business. Pros The value for your investment is great compared to the time and cost it would take for you to hire a team, even an offshore one, to run your product catalog, especially if you have over 500 SKUs. The export functions are great, the AI features are awesome, they are constantly working on adding new integrations and functionalities. The image generations are also way better than what else I have seen on the market and you also do not have to do all the editing yourself, even if you need specific aspect ratios, dimensions, or DPI. Cons They need to have video tutorials, documentation, and other help articles. There is also now undo buttons or save features yet. Right now, I export my entire data set if I know I am going to be making major structural transformations in case something goes wrong.
