TeamOhana has changed the way I manage headcount and a hiring process. It's saved me anywhere from 5-10 hours per week compared to when I was reconciling data between systems in a spreadsheet, manually updating start dates/levels/job roles, and chasing down hiring mangers via slack and other communication methods. Instead of spending my time managing the plan, I now have the opportunity to take a step back think strategically about the business

Pros

TeamOhana is the tool that truly aligns Finance, HR/Talent, and Hiring Managers all in one single source of truth for hiring. From detailed budget planning and variance analysis to customizable approval flows to in depth scenario planning, it allows our team to move fast, make quick decisions, assess hiring health, and operationalize the most important aspect of an operating plan - hiring people. I think the scenarios module is the most impactful since it allows you to 1) build a bottoms up plan from scratch and 2) make "on-the-fly" changes to your existing hiring plan to align with ongoing business needs. There are many tactical aspects of operationalizing and managing a hiring plan, and TeamOhana stitches all pieces together to capture the full headcount lifecycle from creation, to opening a req in the ATS to syncing with the HRIS when someone is hired (needless to say this is painful to do in a spreadsheet).

Cons

I'm excited to see what new features they will build to enhance the reporting aspect. I think this is an area that has significant potential to add value to all of the users.

Pros

The best part about using TeamOhana is getting to work with their team. Their head of customer success and customer support consultants always go the extra mile to ensure the best experience. Additionally, their tool is the only one I've seen on the market to truly capture the triangulation between HR and Finance to ensure streamlined headcount processes while also managing the largest line item on the P&L, the personnel expense. Grateful we get to use this all in one headcount planning tool!

Cons

I'm looking forward to watching TeamOhana continue to focus on improving reporting capabilities, approval policies, and how the tool connects to the ATS.
