As I was under the pump time-wise, I found it easy to use, and the type of boxes or answers offered were exactly what I needed as a beginner. Pros Ease of Use, and the fact that there is a platform to do this. I simply asked AI, 'is there something that I could use to digitally capture answers for my GPS Scorecard?' and 'wham,' they recommended Tally. Cons Hard to say, as I had time constraints, so I relied on AI to help. But maybe some prompt questions like, 'We noticed that you haven't asked for contact details. I primarily use it to collect intake documents and essential client information, and it has made that initial hurdle completely frictionless. The interface is intuitive, making it 'easy-peasy' to gather what I need for analysis. What really sets Tally apart for me is its flexibility with integrations. I’ve set up a workflow using Make.com to automatically pass collected documents straight into a shared Google Drive for my clients. It creates a seamless, professional experience for everyone involved. A special shout-out to the Support Team as well—I ran into a complex backend domain issue on my second day, and they responded rapidly with the exact information I needed to fix it. Efficient product, elite support! Pros It's easy to use and while I've only used it for a short time, it reminds me of something a mentor once told me about Excel: "If you can think of something that you need Excel to do, I guarantee you that someone else has already thought of it. You just need to find out what they did inside Excel, and copy that." I'm pretty sure I can do what I need inside Tally. Cons I honestly haven't found anything that I am disappointed about. I switched to Tally and have not looked back. Pros I like that Tally gives me the ability to limit respondents to submitting a single form without requiring them to sign in. I also like the logic flow that lets me limit respondents' choices based on their earlier answers. Cons I have no complaints with Tally. I submitted a feature request that they have not acted on, but it was for something minor and I can understand why it wouldn't be a priority for a small team. Working in a secondary school (in Scotland), communication parents/carers is a key part of my job so the ability to use Tally is super helpful. It is different, it seems to engender more responses and those responses are richer in detail. Pros Functionality; it is easy to use, clearly set out and removes the dreaded formatting death spiral that Microsoft Forms puts you through. Creating a form is simple, distributing it a one click job and tracking replies is effortless. Cons The onloy one I can find is collating the responses into a spreadsheet; it feels a wee bit clunky but this may be either a) Excel or b) my lackof experience using CSV's. Tally beautifully connects with other tools I use like Zapier, airtable, google spreadsheets. Pros It is the simplest way to make a custom form that is either basic or uses conditional logic. love! the interface is easy on the eyes and intuitive to use. Cons The images upload slowly, so it's not great for an image upload heavy form like a build inspection ect. We began using Tally in late summer of this year after seeing other publishers utilize it for their news quiz. We were looking for a similar, cost-effective solution, and decided to give Tally a shot. I can hardly express how much we've loved using Tally for so many different use cases! Our publication has utilized Tally for everything from reader surveys and market research to interactive "news quizzes", general feedback forms, and, more recently, to encourage our readers to share their stories and submit photos and videos for use in our stories. Our team continually uses Tally to innovate new ways to interact with our readership and manage projects or internal forms. I would highly encourage any individual, organization, business, etc. to give Tally a try and see for yourself how easy it is to use, and how much simpler it makes day to day work and operations better! Pros \- Ease of use, incredible amount of connectivity to other apps/softwares and general integrations into the systems we use daily. - Incredible customer support with super responsive and quality answers to general tech questions. - Cost effectiveness of the subscription price (especially for a nonprofit). - Variety of use and quickness of launching new forms. Cons My only wish for future changes or updates would be an easier way to manage the workspace(s) and assign multiple "admin" permissions to the account. If you want a free form that allows you to create a from that shows x when y is selected, or direct to different paths based on answers, or calculate based on selections, this is the one. Cons User interface is technical, not easy to adopt for non technical people. Conditional setting is simple with constraints, need to think about how to fit its system logic to do what i want to do. But you can already get more done than other forms. No caps on the number of free tier survey responses is nice too, since so many survey builders punish you for being successful and getting lots of responses. Cons If I had to name something, I'd say that the way ranking question responses are displayed in your data is a bit odd, but it's nothing that can't be cleaned up with AI within a minute of exporting my survey results. I haven't worked in quite some time and really couldn't afford to have to pay at this point. Pros I sing their praises every chance I get due to my ability to use their free tier for a data entry task that I need while my personal app is down. Cons I still can't believe that they have no default for the Time field, or control, or whatever it's officially called. I mean, would it really be that hard to let us have a "Now()" or something? I tried another plateform to manage form, and finaly I found Tally, the best for me. Free, simple, fast. Pros 1- Free of charges for basic options. Simple. 2- Dasbord intuitive, very easy to use. 3- Form creation is very easy, customisation is good. 4- Help and support are very usefull. 5- email receipt of form notification is fastier. Super. 6-integration in my website very simple and it works very well. Cons Maybe, about customisation. Column mode : en example, I have a question, the answer is Yes or No. I select checkbox, even if the both box are on the same line, the check box are far from each other. The integrations are awesome. I've been able to create forms that integrate directly into my Notion databases seamlessly. I love it! Tally replaced an expensive CRM I was using with just about an hour of building and integrating. Cons I haven't found anything in the app that I don't like.
