UX Pilot

## What is UX Pilot?

UX Pilot is an AI-powered UX/UI design software that enables designers to generate wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs. The platform features specialized tools including an AI Wireframer for creating flexible wireframes across desktop and mobile platforms, and a HiFi Designer for producing screens with precise controls. UX Pilot integrates with Figma, allowing users to transfer designs between platforms or create designs directly within Figma through a plugin. The software offers capabilities for screen flows, UX frameworks, and source code generation to bridge the gap between design and development. Additional features include chat-based design iteration, diagram creation, interview question generation, and reference-based design creation that allows importing design inspiration to capture desired aesthetics.

Frustrating - a very sloppy tool. I think this could be a good tool if they had a simpler way to use it, like some kind of step by step Wizard. It's like the slapped together a bunch of features without giving it much thought. Ironic that a tool designed to create good user experiences itself has a horrible user experience.

Pros

It created half decent designs. The first several iterations were not great, but after I used Claude to help me write better prompts, it did alright.

Cons

My god, the interface is so difficult that it's own AI helper can't figure it out. I first added my prompt in the opening screen, selected Generate and nothing happened. Lost everything. So I tried again after poking around and was able to generate a design, but not a usable one. I tried to import the design to Figma and that didn't even work either. I had to quit and try Google Stitch. I couldn't waste any more time trying to figure out how I was supposed to use this thing.

Wanted something better for generating designs. Went back to Figma after this experience.

Great so far! I’ve given UX Pilot the reference images of my app UI from other sections and it did a good job of keeping the design elements and look-and-feel as I created entirely new sections.

Pros

I liked that I was able to give UX Pilot reference images and content for it to build on. I also liked the ability to edit specific parts of the UI or to make manuel text edits.

Cons

It takes a long time to re-generate the screen even if I’m editing only a small section. I was also unable to add small specific elements like pop-up windows.

Overall looking forward to seeing how this platform develops. I find it really easy to use and I get great results once I get to a good baseline.

Pros

Easy or use. Amazing results. Good set of rich features. Intuitive interface that is easy to navigate.

Cons

Would love to be able to convey a bigger olan and set of requirements instead of being limited to one page at a time.

Fantastic, I would recommend as an addition to any UX design workflow. Big, big time-saver so you can output more and still retain creative control over your designs.

Pros

It created exactly what I needed in very few prompts. Saved me at least 2 hours of work. The output for Figma was spot on and easy to adjust. The UI is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

There was some functionality (like converting your design from Desktop to Mobile) that was hard to find. Sometimes the output is not what you wanted, but that's probably more due to prompt, than program.

Overall, UX Pilot significantly improves speed and productivity in early-stage UX design and documentation.

Pros

What I liked most about UX Pilot is its ability to translate high-level product requirements into structured UX outputs quickly. It helps in generating user flows, microcopy, feature prompts, and wireframe-ready content with clarity. The tool is especially useful for product managers and digital teams who need rapid prototyping support without deep design bandwidth.

Cons

At times, the outputs require refinement to align with specific brand tone, regulatory constraints, or complex business rules. It may not fully capture nuanced domain-specific dependencies without detailed prompts.

[Figma](https://www.capterra.com/p/175027/Figma/)

I made the switch to UX Pilot primarily to improve speed and structure in early-stage UX planning. Previously, converting business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and microcopy required multiple tools and manual iteration. UX Pilot streamlined this by generating structured UX artifacts directly from prompts, which reduced turnaround time significantly. Additionally, the Figma-ready outputs and feature-level flow generation aligned better with product documentation workflows. While traditional design tools remain essential for detailed UI refinement, UX Pilot proved more efficient for rapid ideation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration during the discovery and solutioning phases.

My overall experience with UX Pilot has been extremely positive. The platform makes it easy to turn rough ideas into structured, usable interfaces within minutes. The AI suggestions feel practical rather than generic, which helps accelerate early product thinking and reduces back-and-forth in the design phase. It’s especially effective for quickly exploring multiple directions before committing to a final concept. Overall, it’s a highly efficient tool that genuinely improves workflow speed and clarity.

Pros

UXPilot is an outstanding platform for rapid UX prototyping and ideation. The interface is intuitive, the AI-generated layouts are impressively relevant, and it dramatically reduces the time from concept to testable design.

Cons

It’s a powerful tool for designers and product teams who want speed without sacrificing creativity...

Pros

There's definite value for money. I also liked how the product UX for the product is very seamless and intuitive.

Its Figma plugin can be improved. The prototyping feature has to be better than what it is now. The idea is to be able to use this solely without really going to Figma.

Gave me innovative, creative ideas on how to design a page. I never copied the designs exactly, but it certainly jumpstarted my creativity in web page designs.

Cons

It often repeated the same designs over and over, without creating new ones. Also, some of the AI photos had difficulties creating realistic human features, like extra arms. Also, AI photos had difficulty spelling words correctly, such as those on a T-shirt.
