Despite some friction during this phase, the overall experience is cautiously positive due to the tool’s underlying potential. Pros The Create Flow feature and the variety of screen-level control options are quite powerful. Being able to make adjustments without breaking away from the overall user flow significantly reduces cognitive load, especially in complex scenarios. Cons As with many AI-based tools, the occasional generation of misleading outputs and inconsistencies in design system usage reduce overall reliability. It helps to unblock me when I struggle to come up with design iterations for a given piece of UI. Pros I love how it can easily generate hi-fi mockups inside Figma based upon a reference frame. It saves so much time! Cons The suggestions for the mockups are sometimes not smart enough to be useful. Being able to iterate on them after they've been generated would be great. I found it difficult to get the right prompt in order to produce the results I had in mind. It was costly to constantly retry for the same design. I’ve given UX Pilot the reference images of my app UI from other sections and it did a good job of keeping the design elements and look-and-feel as I created entirely new sections. Pros I liked that I was able to give UX Pilot reference images and content for it to build on. I also liked the ability to edit specific parts of the UI or to make manuel text edits. Cons It takes a long time to re-generate the screen even if I’m editing only a small section. I was also unable to add small specific elements like pop-up windows. Review Source CC Caro C. Pros I like how it acts as another UX or UI designer who I can collaborate with. It generates very quickly, saving me time, and comes up with ideas that I can pick and choose from. I love how it also integrates with Figma. Cons The integration with Figma can use some improvements with how the components and layers are constructed. There is still a decent amount of clean-up work I have to do once the screens are generated. I also had trouble getting the plugin to run and load the figma screens. Review Source SB Souhel B. Pros It is easy to use, it has it's learning curve, but It really helps programmers to mock up ideas. It helps a lot to give the AI the tools it needs to capture your idea into reality. Pros Very easy to get single pages created quickly/easily. Also easy to iterate on the pages. The pages were very clean and pretty and made good assumptions that I missed in my prompt. Cons I've had a few 'hallucinating' images created when the generator delivered inaccurate renderings of the instructions. Unfortunately these cost tokens and cannot be corrected at no extra charge. The outputs often require substantial manual refinement, and the level of control, depth, and iteration support is behind competitors. It’s usable, but no longer feels leading-edge.” Pros The biggest advantage is speed. UX Pilot is useful for rapidly creating initial wireframes for web projects and exploring ideas quickly. Cons The design presets are not very good. The tool generates files that require extensive rework, which reduces the time savings and limits its usefulness for actual UI design.
