The Devotionals, Bible Study, Key Takeaways, YouTube Chapters, and questions are great. And customer service is amazing. Very helpful, especially for small churches with small staff teams. Pros The free plan allows you to get clips for social media formatted correctly with captions and cut so it always follows the speaker, as well as a better/more accurate transcript for YouTube and YouTube chapter markings that paste into YouTube and become links. You can also get a weekly devotionals, sermon summary, and Bible study guide. They also have amazing customer service, answering questions and fixing issues quickly. It is more affordable than its competitors for an upgraded plan from what I've seen. Cons Most of the content it produces we need before the sermon is given, not after, so we can provide it on Sunday (e.g. devotional, sermon summary, study guide), so we still do this in-house on our own, sometimes using ChatGPT and putting it on our own website. The only content I ever use is the social media clips mostly, and sometimes the YouTube chapters and/or transcript. Sometimes social media clips are not usable, like an incomplete thought. If you upgrade, you can edit the clips and get more, but I can't justify the cost for social media clips alone. It is of high quality, and it is good to have a way to summarise and produce additional content for our congregation and beyond. As with all AI we ensure that everything is proofread and double checked for Biblical integrity. We have had very few issues with the content it produces. Pros We use Pastors.ai weekly to populate our sermon pages on our webpage, to provide devotional content for our congregation, and to provide clips for our social media posts. As a pastor and an IT professional I appreciate that I can use the chatbot to get more information: we use it to produce prayer templates and additional devotional content to get 7 days. We like that our content volunteers can use the public page to create content as well. Cons There are a few little things that are a bit clunky in the user interface. It's strange to only have a link and not a login. We have our church name at the start of all our YouTube services so it is difficult to browse the list. It would be helpful to be able to name them ourselves or have the date at the front of the name. Also find that the list jumps to the most recent sermon while trying to look through old ones. The Chatbot can get a bit stuck sometimes and only accepts one question at a time. It will produce different results in the same session for the same answer as well as not producing consistent results across services. Of course this is inevitable as the AI evolves. The service does a great job of taking the sermons we write and helping create drafts of tools we can use to help the congregation engage with the ideas during the week. Pros I was impressed with what a good job the service did of creating a rough draft of small group lessons and daily study questions after uploading the sermon manuscript. While we still do some editing of those documents before using them, it's a great time saver to have a rough draft to start with and not have to generate those from scratch. It is also helpful to read the summary because it either gives me confirmation that I've communicated my ideas well or it points out where I may need to shore things up. I've been impressed at how accurate the summaries are. Cons The user interface inside your account is a little cumbersome (for example, there's no easy way that I have found to generate an email to support if you need help). Having said that, once I figured out how to send the email the support team has been very responsive and helpful. We've only had a few technical questions along the way and our emails were answered quickly and thoroughly. The monthly subscription is a fair, affordable price. We had done a lot of research before choosing Pastors AI and we are so satisfied with our choice. Pros Pastors AI was a gamechanger for our Communications team. We used to write the text and edit the video clips ourselves but with Pastors AI, we save so much time because it does it all for us. Plus so many extras like devotionals, Bible studies, summaries etc. all taken directly from the sermon. It's amazing. Cons There is not much to dislike! Since we have to say something here, one small thing is that it would be nice if our monthly invoice was emailed to us. The auto-fetching feature is great, as I work part time and don't always get in first thing on Monday morning to remember to submit the service. Pros We have a very small social media staff (just me!), so this has been a gamechanger to give us useable, meaningful content to post each week, along with resources to help people dig deeper into our sermons. Cons I don't really have any negatives -- I guess one small one is that sometimes the clip gets cut off mid-word or something. I am not tech savvy at all but this guys make it so easy I can't fail. Pros Super easy to use and the support has been first class. this has been an incredible resource for us, we are a small church and to have this available has significantly increased out reach on social media. highly recommend it. Our church members appreciate and use the daily devotionals. Small group leaders can generate questions to use for Bible studies and discussion. The sermon letters are thoughtful and encouraging for our congregation. We purchased the $30/mo plan and it has been just right for our church. I also love that they are constantly working to improve Pastors.ai and provide more resources for church. Pros Pastors.ai is a great resource for our church! We can easily upload YouTube videos to Pastors.ai and it generates meaningful and biblical questions. I especially like that it analyzed our church’s past sermons and will use that information as a reference to answer questions about sermons. Cons The method to log in has been a little inconvenient. As the Assistant Administrator for our church, I use it all the time! I love the quick response from customer service. Pros This has made our social media presence seamless! It is easy to use whether you are sharing videos or creating your own content. The customer support is the best as I have reached out for changes and now, they are uploading from YouTube for us! I think the value is right on spot for the amount of use we get from it on an almost daily basis. I would highly recommend Pastors.ai. Cons Once in a while we have to delete our Sunday service and reload it. I hope this is something that gets remedied but, it's not a big hurdle. I find it easy to use and very timely with the outputs. Pros I like the ability to get daily devotional that I can send out to members as Thought for today. I like the idea that the daily devotions are tied directly to the Sunday lesson as a reminder. Cons I have not yet learned how to fully integrate the results into social media options. The team has been very positive and helpful! Also, for a brief time, I stepped away to explore other resources but came right back because I realized how heavily I have come to depend on this. Pros In content, the Church letter, Key Takeaways, and Transcript are such helpful resources. Administratively, the automation and accuracy of this resource is great! The support team is also very helpful. Cons (1) I least like the videos, not because they aren't great with finding good spots but because the quality and crispness don't seem great. There is no way to edit the videos. (2) I wish there was a cheaper annual membership option (like 1 month free or something like that). (3) I wish the free subscription had 5 weeks instead of 4 because of the occasional 5 week months.
