Customer Support is Really Amazing. Pros I think the customer support is the best among all applications that I have used. You can send them an email and get a response right away, with their commitment to creating new features. They care about customer satisfaction. Cons The schedule tool is just a viewer. You can't edit it. You have to edit the schedule in MS Project and re-upload it to SubmittalLink. Pros It's very user-friendly. My team and our consultants find it easy to create submittals and respond to them. The RFIs are straightforward too. I like the mobile app for punchlists and daily reports. All our progress photos live in one place. Cons I wish there was a feature where you could forward a submittal for review without having to add them as a user to the project. After the demo, it exceeded my expectations, especially with the AI features, like scanning of drawings and the reporting tools. Pros Submittallink doesn’t include 20+ unnecessary tools. I mainly need daily reports, drawings, submittals, RFIs, and punch lists to run my projects and Submittallink covers exactly those. It also sends email notifications and reminders, and allows my architect and engineer to respond to RFIs and submittals directly on the platform. We were paying too much to Procore and using too little of it. Once we made the swtich to submittallink, their team helped us with setting up the projects in a day. Cons There’s nothing I dislike, but I don’t really need the contracts and change order modules they offer. We use a separate system to track financials, so I don’t use those features. It simplifies submittal and RFI tracking without adding unnecessary complexity. The interface is intuitive, adoption across the team was quick, and it fits how construction teams actually work. Communication is clearer, follow-ups are reduced, and project documentation stays organized. Compared to other platforms we’ve used, SubmittalLink feels more practical and easier to manage on active projects. It saves time, reduces friction, and helps the team stay focused on the work instead of the software. Pros What I like most about SubmittalLink is how easy it is to manage submittals and RFIs without overcomplicating the process. The platform is built specifically for submittal tracking and RFI tracking, so everything is clear and easy to follow. Submittal status, RFI responses, and review progress are visible right away. Project teams, subcontractors, and consultants can quickly see where items stand without digging through menus or calling the office. That alone saves a lot of time during active construction. The system keeps revision history, approvals, and documentation organized, which helps with project records and audits. At the same time, basic tasks like updating a submittal status or responding to an RFI stay simple and fast. Because the software is straightforward, people actually use it. Superintendents, project engineers, and MEP contractors all rely on it daily. It reduces follow-ups and manual tracking and works well as practical submittal and RFI software for real construction workflows. Cons The only area that could use improvement is the punchlist module. Compared to how intuitive and user-friendly the submittals and RFIs modules are, the punchlist workflow feels less streamlined. It works, but it could be simpler and more intuitive, especially given how strong the rest of the platform is. That said, the submittal and RFI tools are the best I’ve used among competing platforms, so this feels more like an opportunity to raise the punchlist experience to the same level rather than a major issue.
