The breadth of this platform suggests it will replace multiple tools, saving time, energy, and money. I'm excited about where this is headed. Pros There is so much to love about this product! One of the most beneficial features is that the platform prioritizes digital assets governed by RUFADAA, and allows same to not only be inventoried, but includes prompts to the associated company, allowing platform integration designed for maintenance and legacy directives. As an estate planning attorney, I see significant value in its approach to client intake, inventory management, digital asset planning, and emergency access to important information. Although I have only used the system for a short time, Eternal Pro has already become an important tool for my firm. I expect many other firms will adopt it as digital assets and client-directed online planning tools become more central to the estate planning process. Pros Eternal Pro brings together several important tools for modern estate planning in one platform, including client intake, asset inventory management, digital asset planning, and emergency access to critical information. The intake solution is simple and intuitive for clients, while still giving law firms excellent flexibility to customize their questionnaires around their own workflows and client needs. The platform also includes a strong default questionnaire template that should be sufficient for many firms. The ability to migrate client intake data directly into Clio is especially valuable because it puts the information I need front and center for review and action. I also appreciate the inventory management features, which allow clients to organize both traditional assets and digital assets. Eternal Pro’s focus on digital assets governed by RUFADAA, including the ability to generate a directive when a user makes a decision regarding a specific digital asset, is particularly forward-thinking. Another standout feature is the emergency card, which users can store on their phone or print and keep in a wallet or purse. This provides a practical way for loved ones or first responders to access important information, including healthcare directives, DNR orders, POLST forms, and other key emergency documents. Most importantly, the customer support has been phenomenal. The Eternal Pro team is responsive, open-minded, and clearly committed to timely improvements. They are focused on building the best possible solution for law firms and their clients. Cons Because the platform is still evolving, some features are continuing to be refined and improved. That said, this has not been a significant drawback in my experience because the team has been extremely responsive to feedback and timely in making enhancements. I would like to develop more real-world use cases over time, but my early experience has been very positive. Pros What I like most about Eternal Pro is how well it handles the ongoing nature of estate planning information from intake until post-signing management of digital assets. It makes it much easier to organize client assets, especially digital assets and online information that can otherwise get scattered or outdated. I also appreciate that it feels designed for long-term use, not just as a one-time intake tool. I found the platform especially helpful for organizing traditional assets alongside digital assets in one place. The ability to capture items like online accounts, crypto, passwords, and other digital property feels thoughtfully designed for the way clients actually live now, rather than the way estate planning software used to work. Cons The main limitation is that Eternal Pro is not a complete practice management system, so it still needs to work alongside other software for billing, matter management, and broader office operations.
