Pros I liked the simplicity of the UI and how the ai agent visually tells you what it's doing at every step of the process. Even after providing a very throughouh prompt, I still left out some details such as music, but it still proactiveiyl suggested the best BGM for my project based on the theme, concept and story. It could use some room for improvement in the initial home page (discovery of the search bar wasn't clear at first) but once you find it, nothing can stop you from having a good time creating something. I could see the potentially being integrated with tiktok or youtube to seamlessly upload into my channels from the platform itself. Cons The onboarding was not there, I mean I just logged in, and was shown alot of videos but there was no "welcome" message or "do this first, then this, then this", etc. i onboarded myself. It felt a little slow when it used up all my credits, and it kept me waiting for output, but that can be overlooked by the amazing results. If you need quick parts of your video generated by AI this is the perfect site to use. It was easy to use and figure out the different buttons. Pros I was impressed by how easy and intuitive the creative flow felt. I also liked how I could work on multiple projects at once and how I could switch between the projects and it was still generating in the background. Cons The time it took for the generating to happen. I know AI needs time to generate videos from scratch but not knowing how long the generating had left was a bit annoying as it only showed 'waiting'. Pros I have enjoyed working with this program to create a custom video. Some of the pros for Medeo are that it is extremely easy to work with and very intuitive. You can browse through pre-created ideas and add your own spin on them or you can type in your idea and it will create a script, background music, and video for you. I typed in my idea with a few parameters and it created something pretty close to what I had in mind. There were a few details I wanted to have changed, and I only needed to write out the changes and it got it right after the next time around. Having one program that does the script, music, and video was very convenient instead of having to go to multiple programs and then combine everything together. Cons There are a few opportunities for improvement that I could see. When I first went into the site, I wrote out my idea without realizing I needed to log in and create an account first. When it prompted me to create an account, all of my previous work disappeared. It would be nice if you were prompted to create an account first or either you didn’t lose your idea when you made an account. It also would have been nice if it had a countdown of sorts that let you know how much longer it was going to take to create the video. Also, I was never able get an export of the video from the site, it would get to about 50% of processing and then error out. I’m not sure if I ran out of credits to do this or not, but it started the process and never finished it. The process is really straightforward and I'm blown away by how in-depth it's able to go with just a simple prompt. I'm a personal trainer and love using this to demonstrate technique cues, form notes, or variations in an exercise. I could tell the video was AI but it was one of the best I've seen honestly as far as quality and it only took some minor tweaking to get it to look the way I wanted. Of course with AI it's not going to be perfect (the muscles in the athlete's legs were....a little peculiar looking haha) but at the end of the day it took a video that would have taken me hours to film and edit using myself as the subject, and was able to create, edit and export in less than 30 minutes. I actually overcomplicated it at first. I would love to have an option to be able to click on and edit individual clips, or edit individual steps in the process, but honestly just using the chat to explain what I wanted to change was so much simpler than I expected. It’s a well-thought-out platform that lowers the barrier to entry for experimenting with AI workflows, which is something I think a lot of tools in this space still struggle with. One of the first things I noticed was how easy it was to get started. You don’t need to be particularly technical to find your footing here. The interface is clean and laid out in a way that makes sense, without a lot of clutter or unnecessary complexity. I’ve used plenty of software over the years where you spend more time figuring out where things are than actually using them, and that’s not the case here. The onboarding process does a good job of walking you through the essentials, so you can get up to speed without feeling overwhelmed. After getting comfortable with the basics, what stood out to me was the flexibility. Medeo gives you enough structure to guide you, but not so much that it feels restrictive. You can experiment with different workflows, try out ideas, and iterate pretty quickly. Whether you’re interested in content creation, automating routine tasks, or just exploring what AI can do, it feels like the platform gives you room to do that without getting in your way. I also appreciate that it seems to cater to a wide range of users. If you’re just starting out, it’s approachable and doesn’t assume a lot of prior knowledge. However, the creation tool is flawed, for example it can be slow to generate your video and sometimes typing what you want Medeo to do to edit your video doesn't always work out the way you intend it to. Despite these flaws, Medeo has the potential to be a great video creation software tool, it just needs to be fixed up. The platform is very user-friendly and the layout is very clear and visually appealing. However, in the context I was using it, I wasn't really able to accomplish much with just the free version. If i need an Ai generated video and am willing to spend money on credits in the future i will definitely come back to Medeo. Pros The Medeo platform was very intuitive and easy to use. The overall layout made it clear how to start a project, generate a video, and begin editing without needing much guidance. The creation flow felt smooth, and I was very quickly able to go from an idea to a generated video, which was very impressive. Cons The main limitation was the credit system. As someone just trying to test the app before committing to buying credits, I wasn't really able to accomplish much. I wasn't able to fully refine my video because I ran out of credits while trying to make adjustments. The initial output was really off from what I was looking for, and I wasn't able to fix it because I ran out of credits. I really liked the chat feature and how it converted my text, assets, links, etc. into a work of art! I am a pro user now and implement Medeo into content creating and school work. Pros What I liked most about Medeo was its easy chat to video style workflow and how I can basically talk to an AI like how I would chat with ChatGPT and would generate a very high-quality video production. I did not have to interact too much with the editor and worry about video editing as it was conveniently done for me. I also liked how the video rendering was smooth along with the voice and characters. It was not buggy at all as I thought I would experience such problems. Cons There really wasn't any cons except for maybe the fact that it did take a while to fully compile the video from start to finish. It would first generate an AI Image and then generate an AI Video based on said image. However, since the quality was superb, it was worth the wait instead of a buggy, low-production AI video like other providers. The main advantage this site has is how simple you can make any video you imagine. You can also use the many templates that they give you on the site. Another positive is after making the video you can edit it to your like to better fine tune your vision. You don't have to be a professional editor to do this. Now the main reason I gave this a 4 star rather than a 5 is due to one reason. As a free user you can't really do much. This is understandable, but as someone who is new to AI video creation, I would want to try out the product before fully committing. There should be some way to earn extra free credits. Another improvement is in the editing window, maybe reduce the amount of credits that will be used when editing or not use any at all, that way I can see if the app can truly make my vision, as the first video produced wasn't what I imagined it to be.
