We can quickly navigate complex GAAP issues, reach well-supported conclusions, and strengthen our audit documentation with authoritative support. It's a significant efficiency gain for our audit team. Cons Not a lot to say other than it's still a tool and not a replacement for human judgment and analysis. The tool went from a "nice to have" cool new product that made us feel like we were being Ai forward to is a "must have" for us now. It has helped us reduce our spend on third party technical accounting consultants considerably. Pros I love that the chat function searches and sites the FASB codification and Big 4 accounting guides as opposed to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc. that are searching the open internet and will include reddit as a source. Also, the contract analysis function has proven really robust when paired with the chat which allows you to ask very targeted questions about the specific contract. Cons There were some cons in the early months of usage which included only being able to reference Big 4 accounting guides, but that con was eliminated when they received access to the FASB codification. We are also blown away by how powerful the contract review tool is for us with everything from office leasing to customer MSAs.
