I worked with on-premise tools in my previous companies and the experience is so different. I prefer cloud for how quick it is, it's accessibility, the ease of deployment, the quality of integrations. Aletiq is a great tool, especially for mid-size companies, I guess it should be a great fit for startups as well. Pros Everyone from design to purchasing can find something useful in the tool and it makes us all work seamlessly together. Aletiq is always improving, adding new features or improving the existing ones, I see that they put user experience in the top of their priorities, the tool is built in the way that it is easy to master. Cons I work a lot with suppliers and 2 years ago the tool wasn't adapted for that kind of work. I kept exchanging with them via email and it was hard to keep the track, but I'd say a year ago we've got the supplier portal so our collaboration got much better. There're some minor things in the app that could have been improved I guess but it doesn't impact my daily work with Aletiq, and globally I'm satisfied with it. We wanted to improve our data management but weren't sure about how, and we didn't want to pile up different software. The first contact with Aletiq was really nice, \[sensitive content hidden\] explained us everything and we felt like a PLM was something we needed. We didn't just focus on Aletiq, we did our benchmark, but from all solutions, Aletiq stood our for its intuitive design, simplicity, agility, and customer support. They took care of data migration even though we had to clean up our data before. They setup the connectors with Solidwords and Onshape, built us the first workflow models, helped us to define the data model. Overall I had a great experience with Aletiq, particularly with \[sensitive content hidden\], who supported us throughout our PLM journey, and still do. Pros One of my favorite features about Aletiq is that everything is connected. I can easily find my part, what products they're used in, elated documentation, I have a revision history at the tips of my hand. And ease of use is also a major point for me because I've never used a PLM before. The platform is integrated with our CAD SolidWorks, our ERP SAP and the AI layer makes it very easy to access information and saves us precious time. Aletiq was our champion since the moment we saw their demo. Very clean tool, professional team, they answered all our questions, found some workarounds with our current tools, helped us to clean up our data before migration. Really nothing to say about their service, it's just great! And as for the PLM itself, we integrate it with catia and sap, we really love the workflows because they allowed us to bring more rigor in our processes, all our data is now accessible and clean, I'm very happy about this collaboration!! Our team collaboration got like 3 times better with Aletiq! the processes are now very clear, well-identified, fixed, everyone knows what to do and when, our processes are now automated via workflows. the data is also clean, it's very easy to find whatever we need, I love it! Cons Well at first for our production team it wasn't that easy to start using a PLM, partially it was resistance to change, and partially because they are not used to working with software. I guess maybe some in-app tutorials might be nice to have. But regarding other teams like design, quality, procurement or whatever, it was easy for them to start using the tool, and those who used a PLM before, even noticed, that it was much much easier than their previous tools. We ensured digital continuity between our design offices in India and US, all data is now synced between our CAD tools and ERP, we did decrease the risk of non-compliance and the whole preparation for the audit was cut by x3. Totally recommend, especially for mid market manufacturers. We didn't have resources to setup a classic tool so Aletiq was a great solution for us. The deployment went quickly, the support team was very responsive and helpful, the app keeps developing and we're getting more and more nice features, the AI also added a lot of value for us. Pros The app's interface is really modern, so it was pretty easy to learn how to use it. We have pretty much all the features we need to cover all aspects of the lifecycle, we also manage Quality in the tool, we have Catia and Solidworks plugins and we recently connected Aletiq with our ERP Odoo, the software is really powerful. I particularly like the workflows feature with it's automatic notifications. We recently started using AI as well, happy with the results so far. Cons When we started using the app 2 years ago, we were missing some features, but by now all our demands were hear and fixed, so I don't have much to add here. We also had a call with Aletiq's customer with a similar use-case, and they were pretty happy about the quality of the tool and integrations with CAD and ERP, it helped us to take a decision without hesitation.
