The platform feels intuitive, modern, and much better aligned with the way SBDCs are evolving. We’ve especially appreciated the added flexibility around programs, forms, surveys, and client engagement, along with the responsiveness of the Catalyzer team throughout the process. Pros What we like best about Catalyzer is that it feels purpose-built for how SBDCs actually work. The platform is clean, intuitive, and much easier to navigate than legacy CRM systems, which helps reduce friction for advisors and leadership alike. Cons There honestly isn’t much we dislike about Catalyzer. As with any new CRM, there is a natural learning curve and a few areas that are still being refined as the platform continues to develop. Some workflows may take time for teams to fully adjust to, especially for users coming from a legacy system. But that feels more like part of the transition process than a major drawback. Overall, most of our feedback has been less about dislikes and more about small opportunities to keep improving usability, reporting, and workflow efficiency as Catalyzer continues to grow. Pros Catalyzer is such a helpful tool in running entrepreneurial programs. It replaces a dozen scattered spreadsheets or subsections of generic CRM's and forms with one centralized hub. Being able track everything needed with our entrepreneurship support programming in one dashboard saves an immense amount of time. It’s purpose-built for this kind of work, and it shows. Cons There is a bit of an initial learning curve when you’re first setting up your structure. Because it has so many specific features tailored to tracking application rubrics and milestone progress, it takes a minute to wrap your head around the optimal way to map your workflow into the system.
