Cons Less about ScrapeBadger, more about how extensive the payload isn't for some keyword - but that's not SB's fault, even on normal SERPs there may not be certain SERP features. The platform provides capabilities that are hard to find in other scraping APIs, and it was particularly useful for my product search use case. While the response times could be improved, the generous free credits and unique Google AI Mode scraper make it a compelling option for developers who are building prototypes or MVPs on a budget. Pros ScrapeBadger offers features that are difficult to find elsewhere, especially the Google AI Mode scraper. It was useful for retrieving product information that traditional search APIs often missed. I also really appreciate how generous they are with free credits for things like leaving a review or following their social media. That made it much easier to build and test an MVP without spending a lot upfront. Compared to other scraping providers I've tried, their developer-friendly incentives stand out. Cons The main downside for me was latency. I'd also like to see support for image + text prompts in the Google AI Mode scraper, since multimodal input would make it much more useful for product search use cases. It delivered. Been using it since and haven't had a reason to look elsewhere. Good value for what you get. Pros Started using Scrapebadger after Reddit killed unauthenticated JSON access in June. Every other tool I was using just stopped working overnight. Scrapebadger was already updated and running while competitors were still figuring out what happened. The API is clean, documentation is solid and the endpoint coverage for Reddit is genuinely good: post, comments, subreddits, search, all there. Cons Support response time can be slow, sometimes up to 12 hours due to time zones difference, as they are based in Europe. Not a dealbreaker since they always resolve the issue, but worth knowing if you need something urgent sorted quickly.
