The setup and integration were quick, their documentation is good, and the playground made it easy to validate the returned data. It saves us from spending time maintaing our own scraping infrastructure and allows us to focus on the part that differentiates our product. Overall, ScrapeBadger has become an important part of our infrastructure and has been easy to build around. Pros ScrapeBadger has been straightforward to set up and has been very reliable in production. I liked that I could generate an API key, test requests in the playground, review the returned data and integrate it without unecessary friction. What I value most is that I don't have to maintain scraping infrastructure myself. ScrapeBadger has proven reliable at extracting data from Reddit, which we all know is a difficult platform to scrape consistently. Their customer support is also very good. They respond quickly and are always willing to help with any problems. Cons I haven't encountered any significant issues so far. My use case is focused primarily on extracting Reddit data, and ScrapeBadger has handled what I need reliably. Burhanudin Y. Founder Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Cheap and flexible, but Lens API was unreliable for us" 3.0 October 14, 2026 Good value and easy to start with. But for real-time use in our app, the Lens API was too slow and unstable, so we now use it only as a backup provider. Pros Pricing is very fair: you buy credits once, they never expire, and failed requests are not charged. The Google Lens endpoint returns a lot of results (around 60 per image) with source and price. We also use their Google and Bing autocomplete for keyword research. The API is simple, with one key in a header. Cons The Google Lens endpoint was not reliable for us. Requests often took 15-20 seconds, sometimes over a minute, and many failed with an "image\_url\_unreachable" error even when the image was online. In one test only 11 of 41 images returned results. So far it's been the least troublesome for me. The API is pretty straightforward and the results have been consistent. Pros Very consistently reliable. The speed is just great , the price is low enough that i don't have to worry about it. The UI is intuitive and clear . Cons A few downtimes but very limited, as well as some calls that didn't go through but nothing significant and it didn't have any impact on my workflow. The platform provides capabilities that are hard to find in other scraping APIs, and it was particularly useful for my product search use case. While the response times could be improved, the generous free credits and unique Google AI Mode scraper make it a compelling option for developers who are building prototypes or MVPs on a budget. Pros ScrapeBadger offers features that are difficult to find elsewhere, especially the Google AI Mode scraper. It was useful for retrieving product information that traditional search APIs often missed. I also really appreciate how generous they are with free credits for things like leaving a review or following their social media. That made it much easier to build and test an MVP without spending a lot upfront. Compared to other scraping providers I've tried, their developer-friendly incentives stand out. It delivered. Been using it since and haven't had a reason to look elsewhere. Good value for what you get. Pros Started using Scrapebadger after Reddit killed unauthenticated JSON access in June. Every other tool I was using just stopped working overnight. Scrapebadger was already updated and running while competitors were still figuring out what happened. The API is clean, documentation is solid and the endpoint coverage for Reddit is genuinely good: post, comments, subreddits, search, all there. Cons Support response time can be slow, sometimes up to 12 hours due to time zones difference, as they are based in Europe. Not a dealbreaker since they always resolve the issue, but worth knowing if you need something urgent sorted quickly.
