We're mid-transition on our internal processes to get the most out of it, but the support and responsiveness make that transition a lot easier than it would be otherwise. I like where this is headed. Pros Pros: \[sensitive content hidden\] have been genuinely helpful through this whole process. Any design suggestion we bring them gets implemented fast, not weeks later. It's clear they want us to win with this tool, not just sell it and move on. The interface itself is the most adaptable and easy to use I've worked with. The display makes it easy to catch mistakes before they become problems. The warnings are detailed and give real information for resource planning, whether that's machine capacity or worker availability. Cons and overall experience still stand as drafted. Let me know if you want to adjust those too, or if this is ready to paste in. Cons We're still working out the best way to run it alongside ProShop. Some of that is on us, we're changing internal processes to fit the tool instead of forcing the tool to fit our old habits, and that transition takes time. The scheduling logic doesn't always match how our floor actually flows yet, so we're still tuning it. They have a deep knowledge of coding and can resolve bugs, implement new features very fast. Cons Not really any Cons. Skody is just an early company at the moment but they have a lot of momentum on their side as word is spreading. Very useful tool. Customers AND employees like to see the dashboards displayed in the shop. Pros The customer service is unmatched and Skody has clean,beautiful dashboards. API with proshop is great also. Cons Does not have part pictures in the software. Makes seeing what the job is at a glance is a little difficult. Glad the dashboards are actually being used on the shop floor… that’s the goal, not just another screen in the office. And yeah — fair call on part pictures. We’ve heard this from a couple shops now. It’s on our near-term roadmap so operators can identify jobs faster without digging. Thou, we have to be careful of ITAR/CMMC. Also great to hear the ProShop API piece is working well — we’re doubling down there. Job shop scheduling is one of the most complex problems in the world and this software not only solves that for us, but also gives us other dashboards and tools to help us succeed. Pros The scheduling software is great. We were never able to get over 80% OTD because we weren't able to look far enough ahead, and now we're looking at a plan that will make us 100% OTD within a month. I really like that the schedule takes into account people and their skills as well. For instance if a machine is available but our operator is working on another machine at that time, the software will try to find someone else with that skill to work on the machine. This will in-turn make a "Worker Schedule" which my team follows instead of just a schedule that says what jobs are supposed to be on which machines. Cons It's difficult to come up with many cons. The system just works. I guess the only con would be that you to have good data on the front end. Without good BOMs, time tracking, etc the system will do it's best to calculate a good plan, but that plan is much better with accurate data.
