PR2XML is a browser-based tool that converts Adobe Premiere Pro projects into FCPXML format for DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. It preserves timelines, effects, transitions, and audio levels. Multi-track arrangements, gaps, and nested sequences become compound clips, while effects, such as transforms and playback speeds remain intact. The tool works entirely in a web browser. Users upload a .prproj file, choose FCPXML or XML/XMEML as the output, and complete the conversion quickly. Media files remain on the user's device, as only the project file is processed. PR2XML supports Premiere Pro CC 2018 and later, as well as older CS3 to CS5 projects, converting them to XML/XMEML for modern software compatibility. PR2XML generates FCPXML 1.9 files for DaVinci Resolve 17 and later, and Final Cut Pro. It also creates XML (XMEML) files for broader editing platform compatibility.
