## What is PMODeck?

PMOdeck is a project management platform that helps IT and ERP project managers run complex implementation projects from start to finish. It replaces spreadsheets and generic tools with a connected platform built around the methodology IT PMs actually use. Core capabilities include risk and issue tracking, milestone and phase planning, UAT test management, change request control, budget monitoring, team and RACI management, and AI-generated status reports. A built-in stakeholder portal gives sponsors and steering committee members free read-only access to published reports. AI reads live project data to draft weekly status reports, facilitate risk workshops, and answer project questions through a built-in assistant.

Overall, my experience with PMODeck has been very positive. After evaluating a large number of project management tools and relying heavily on multiple Excel spreadsheets to gain a true view of project performance, PMODeck stood out by consolidating everything into a single, reliable platform. It provides a clear and accurate overview of project health, enabling me to present confidently to Steering Committees and Executive Committees with data I trust.

Pros

What I liked most about PMODeck is its intuitive and user‑friendly design, which makes it very easy to navigate while delivering clear, insightful, and actionable information about project progress. This clarity helps stakeholders quickly understand status, risks, and priorities, supporting better decision‑making. PMODeck is also the first Tool of its kind (at least from the many I evaluated) that has a very reasonable pricing structure for smaller organizations and even individual consultants who need to report on project health, status and budget, etc.... Using AI to generate reports for reporting purposes was a first for - I like it a lot

Cons

Import/Export and integration to other tools like Jira that is not yet available. It would help a lot to get the micro task level information in PMODeck to allow for accurate reporting. This is not a negative for PMODeck because most other tools integrate and provide features like that comes at a tremendous cost for the organizations and I know it is on their roadmap to build integrations

Once I started it the first time, the product started helping me and it was guiding me. I am really enthousiastic about the possibility to import any existing project documentation. The product paves the way to incorporate it.
