The platform has delivered exactly what we needed from a HAF booking system: simplicity, reliability and flexibility. From the initial onboarding process through to programme delivery, Eequ has helped us streamline administration, improve oversight and create a much better experience for both providers and families. What has impressed us most is that Eequ understands the practical realities of delivering a local authority HAF programme. Features such as provider management, eligibility checking, booking controls, reporting and communications all work together in a way that reduces workload rather than adding to it. The system is intuitive for administrators, straightforward for providers and easy for families to navigate. The support from the Eequ team has been excellent throughout. They have been responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping us get the most from the platform. Questions were answered quickly, solutions were found where needed and we always felt supported during both implementation and delivery. Since moving to Eequ, we have greater confidence in our processes, better visibility of programme activity and significantly less administrative burden. It has become an important part of how we deliver HAF locally and we would have no hesitation in recommending Eequ to other local authorities looking for a professional, well-supported and highly effective booking platform. Pros Switching to Eequ as our HAF booking system has been the right decision for our local authority and the children and families we serve. We had been using a different system previously and the difference has been significant. What stood out immediately was how much clearer and more manageable everything became, from provider onboarding and listing checks through to eligibility checking and DfE reporting. The whole process is incredibly simple and the time saved on admin across the whole programme has been considerable, freeing our small team up to focus on the programme itself rather than the paperwork behind it. The collection of listings that parents see and the individual provider listings each come with their own links and QR codes, which has streamlined how we promote the programme. Parents land somewhere that looks professional, attractive and engaging. The platform handles both funded HAF places and separate paid and specialist listings with their own booking rules, which gives our providers real flexibility. Eequ does already send automatic reminder emails three days and one day before a session prompting families to cancel if they can no longer attend, which is a helpful feature.
