Built Simple is construction management software made in Australia, for builders and trade businesses who spend their day running jobs rather than running a head office. The job is the centre of it. You build the program, link the tasks so that a delay on the slab moves everything behind it instead of leaving you to redo the dates by hand, and the app watches the local forecast against those dates. Delays and extensions of time get recorded as they happen, which is the part most people end up reconstructing from memory months later when someone finally asks. Takeoffs and estimating sit in the same place, so a quote comes out of the measurements rather than out of a spreadsheet you have to keep in step with them.
