Overall, our experience with TipHaus has been excellent. Eliminating nightly cash tip payouts has reduced the amount of cash we keep on hand, making operations more secure and efficient. Our staff really appreciates the peer-to-peer tip sharing, especially when team members work together on larger events or catering jobs. One of the biggest strengths is the flexibility of the system. We can create highly detailed tip splits, customize sharing rules, and build commission structures for different types of sales, allowing the software to match the way our business actually operates. It’s a powerful platform that has streamlined our tip management while giving us the customization we need.

Pros

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ \[sensitive content hidden\] at TipHaus was outstanding! He jumped on a video call with us and patiently worked through two very complicated daily rules we use for catering tips and commissions. These weren’t simple setups—they required careful logic and an understanding of how our operation works. \[sensitive content hidden\] stayed engaged the entire time, worked through every detail, and helped get everything configured correctly. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely committed to solving the problem instead of rushing through it. Excellent customer service and a great representative for TipHaus. Thank you, \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Cons

The biggest opportunity for improvement is the integration between Genius POS and TipHaus. Some of the more advanced configurations—especially when using ghost employees or ghost job codes for commissions and catering tips—can be difficult to understand without support. A more detailed flowchart, setup guide, or troubleshooting documentation for these advanced use cases would make onboarding and self-service much easier. Once configured, the system works well, but better documentation would significantly reduce the learning curve.

We implemented TipHaus 2 years ago and I can't imagine an easier and more efficient system for tips to our staff.

Pros

The overall interface takes a little time to figure out, but once TipHaus is dialed in, it makes payroll very easy and efficient.

Cons

There are just small technical things that are not so apparent to fix, however, TipHaus' customer support is excellent and very helpful.

Pros

Customer Service. They are super responsive and are always available to answer questions within a few minutes. Even if our assigned account manager isn't available everyone is fantastic.

Cons

There is not anything that I can think of that is a negative about TipHaus. The product is fantastic overall.
