It has been a great addition to our business by reducing the time it takes to measure feet while also providing detailed, reliable data that helps create a more holistic fit experience for each customer. It enhances the overall fitting process by giving our staff more confidence in matching footwear to the customer’s unique foot shape and helping ensure a more accurate fit. It also creates excitement around technology in the run specialty industry and naturally sparks conversations with customers, making the experience feel both innovative and engaging. Pros What I liked most about Volumental is how easy it is to use for both staff and customers. The scanner provides clear, helpful data that supports the fitting process and gives us valuable insights into each customer’s foot shape and sizing needs. The product itself feels high-quality and reliable, and it meaningfully enhances the in-store experience by making shoe fitting more personalized, engaging, and confidence-inspiring for the customer. Cons One challenge with Volumental is that parts of the user interface can be difficult to follow or navigate, especially during the fitting process. A specific issue we’ve run into is when a customer has a significant size difference between their left and right foot, the interface can make it impossible to view both measurements at the same time. Improving the visibility and flow of that information would make the experience smoother for staff and customers alike. They're generally collaborative and have consistently stepped up to do the right things for the benefit of the long-term relationship. Pros It's a powerful tool that provides footwear retail staff with better and more objective insights, while making it easier for a customer to follow along with an associate's recommendation. Overall, it has significantly enhanced our in-store experience. Cons At times they develop new features that aren't a priority for our business and they can be a bit persistent in trying to get us to add them to our roadmap. Pros The quick 3D scan helps customers understand their foot shape and why we recommend certain shoes. It's easy to use, creates a professional impression, and minimizes returns.
