## What is Graftit?

Graftit is desktop solution for UK freelancers, combining time tracking, mileage logging, expense management, and invoicing into one application. Time entries can be logged with client-specific rates and converted into PDF invoices, with invoice locking to prevent double-billing. Mileage tracking uses HMRC-approved rates of 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles and 25p thereafter, calculating road distances between postcodes and tracking cumulative mileage. Expenses can be photographed, categorised, and tracked for VAT purposes. Data is stored locally, with optional cloud syncing via Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or iCloud. The software works offline, syncing automatically when online. Export options include tax year summaries, HMRC reports, and accountant packs. Xero integration allows direct transfer of invoices, expenses, and mileage records. It supports HMRC’s SA103F categories and Making Tax Digital compliance. Each licence covers three devices, with macOS support planned.
