## What is RxRescue?

RxRescue is medication inventory software that complements a pharmacy's existing management system by adding the physical-shelf layer it doesn't cover. Staff scan medication bottles from a phone or barcode scanner on Windows or Android, capturing GS1 DataMatrix details (GTIN, lot, serial, expiration) as separate fields for DSCSA package-level records. Expiration and FEFO tracking surface short-dated stock before it expires, and a daily FDA recall check matches recalled lots against on-hand inventory with timestamped history for audits. A one-tap DSCSA audit pack exports six synchronized reports (inventory snapshot, audit log, transaction records, recall-match history, return manifest, quarantine log), with seven-year audit-log retention. RxRescue is stock-only and designed not to collect patient health information, so there is no Business Associate Agreement to negotiate and the security review is short. It is built for correctional, independent, and institutional pharmacies.
