D&R engineer Automotive Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Best software for automotive parts design" July 19, 2019 4.0 I sometimes use the program but I can say that it is a very good CAD program for my business. ( Automotive ) Pros Easy user friendly program. All parts are easily created with this application and 2D drawings automatically created by the program based on 3D models. Integration to Teamcenter is easy. Cons I sometimes get lost while creating the structure of the parts, for especially the complex ones. It is not allowed to proceed with 3D model when the contstrains are not OK , but the explanations for those constraints sometimes are not clear. Review Source VC Vikas C. As with anything, there's a bit of a learning curve, but after just a little bit of playing around you can accomplish tons of things. Cons Must use a mouse whenever using this software. Impossible to use with just a laptop (which is not quite so ideal for students). Pros Initially I thought I would struggle to use it as in the company that I work it is the CAD software used but actually the tools are very similar to other CAD software that I used before so not too bad. It is very complex software for designing, providing loads of functionalities available through toolbar Cons I didn't notice any disadvantages during usage apart from first phase of using the software as beginner - I was very lost and find it hard to navigate with all options available.
