Bank2XL converts PDF bank statements into structured Excel or CSV files using vision AI to extract transaction data and account details from clean PDFs, scans, or phone photos. Its adaptive engine handles diverse bank layouts without manual updates for format changes. Accuracy is ensured through balance reconciliation, flagging discrepancies in a validation sheet before import. Outputs include multi-sheet Excel files with account info, transaction details, and reconciliation status, while the original PDF remains accessible. The software supports multiple languages, preserving column labels and currency symbols, and integrates with accounting tools via QBO, CSV, OFX, and QFX formats for QuickBooks and Quicken. Files are encrypted and processed in memory, with debug copies retained for 24 hours before deletion. Storage can be disabled, and uploaded content is not used for AI training or shared with third parties.
