## What is MilkShelf?

MilkShelf is subscription management software for small dairy farms running raw milk subscriptions, herdshares, or direct sales. Features: customizable signup form, recurring card billing via Stripe, pickup reminders, smart waitlist, jar return tracking, label printing, customer self-service portal, multiple pickup locations per day, capacity limits, projected income, failed payment alerts, and farm vacation auto-pause. Four billing modes (per-pickup, monthly, monthly herdshare, 4-week herdshare) support both direct sales and herdshare operations. Herdshare Mode swaps terminology farm-wide (customers become shareholders, jars become shares) and handles one-time buy-in fees. $39/month flat. No per-customer fees. Farms keep 100% of their jar price; processing fees are passed to customers at checkout.
