We're a small to mid size HVAC company, we also do drywall repair and maintenance, six trucks. Before this we were duct-taping QuickBooks and Google Calendar together and losing jobs in the cracks. FieldWise actually fits how a trades company operates day to day. It's not bloated with stuff we'll never touch, and the price isn't insane like some of the big names. Support has been responsive when we needed something tweaked. It's not perfect yet but it's getting better fast and I can tell the people building it actually talk to contractors.

Pros

Dispatch board is the big one for me. I can see where my guys are, move jobs around, and it just makes sense without watching a 40 minute tutorial. The tech portal works great on their phones too — they clock in, update job status, get customer info, all without calling the office. Invoicing and estimates are solid. I went from doing everything on paper and spreadsheets to actually having a system that handles the full cycle — schedule, dispatch, do the work, invoice, get paid. Membership agreements was a nice surprise, we set up maintenance plans and the contracts generate automatically. Customer portal is clean too, customers can see their stuff without bugging us.

Cons

its the same accross the board.. fieldwise is refreshing because some companies dont help with bring over history, fieldwise does but it took about 24 hours.. I know it doesn't sound a lot and it all working great i just didnt like the wait..
