HCC Buddy is an ICD-10-CM encoder built for Medicare Advantage risk adjustment. It covers CMS-HCC V28 and V24, updated after each CMS release. For any code you search, you get billable status, the full code path, and HCC mapping alongside ICD-10-CM guidance. RAF values show the financial weight before you submit. The MEAT checker flags which documentation elements are present and which are missing, so you know whether the chart supports the code before submission. Ask Buddy answers HCC mapping and documentation questions mid-session, without leaving the encoder. Smart Notes saves reusable templates for your common chart types. The Chrome extension puts the encoder inside your browser, so you can look up codes while you stay in the EMR. NPI lookup and a medication reference are built in for provider records and drug-class context. HCC Buddy never stores or transmits patient data. The library covers 70,000+ ICD-10-CM codes with HCC mappings, code trumping, and hierarchy logic.
